WE'VE STAYED on top of this tree for quite a while now. Werewolves are everywhere but none of them seems in attempt to attack us already.

Just like us, they're reading the situation carefully. Phoenix didn't even let his guard down since then. Tightly gripping on his two swords carefully scouting the dark spots we can clearly see those terryfying pairs of eyes.

Seems like we can't count them down to numbers. There are too many of them. Excluding those beasts still hiding somewhere out of our sights. A sand on the bay. Gano'n sila karami kung isasama lahat.

I sighed. I looked at my hand holding a dagger. This is the only weapon fit for me. Kainis. I even dropped that huge sword somewhere dahil masyado talagang mabigat. What Am I? An idiot?

I heaved a long sigh again in exasperation. Nababagot ako sa ginagawa ko sa sarili ko. Para akong pariwara lagi. Hindi makapag-desisyon ng tama at palaging umaasa sa kasama.

Then I felt a strong hand gripping my shoulder slightly. "Ayos ka lang?" nang masipat ko ito, si Phoenix pala. "Don't try sleeping now, kid. Delikado ang sitwasyon natin. Kailangan nating makaalis sa lugar na 'to kahit anong mangyari."

Then Kane gulped. "Look over there." Nang may maituro syang direksyon, sinundan namin ito ni Phoenix ng aming mga mata. Mula sa aming likuran.

"Shit! Not now." Phoenix cursed as we saw that werewolf earlier from the tunnel. It's now standing firm on a top branch of a tree like what the three of us are doing.

Phoenix warned us. "Maging alerto lang kayo!"

Then we heard a tree bark cracked from below. Kasabay yumanig ang punong aming kinatutungtungan and the next thing happened so fast. Natumba ang kahoy kung saan kami naroroon.

A sign of claws marks means that creature strikes the tree down para makababa kami. Phoenix managed to jumped to the other tree near him but not the same with me and Kane.

My mouth trembled to that sight. "Hindi." That werewolf went after him from the darkness of the forest kaya't hindi ko na nakita ang sumunod na nangyari.
