'Who Killed Chris McLean?' Part 2

...

Do I care that Chris is dead? Not as much as I should. Besides, I'm still not fully convinced he is dead. Chris has put us through so much sh*t, I don't know if I can believe anything he says or does. Maybe he's been abducted, or maybe he's just hurt somewhere... Or maybe he's totally fine and he's somewhere laughing his a$$ off watching us panic, I don't know! All I know is, I have nothing to do with this, but I am interested in knowing what happened.

...

"I did not kill Chris McLean!"

...

"Oh, you guys can't you be serious!" Courtney complains.

"I am," Harold says. "What is more serious than... a murder?" He says the last part in a deep voice.

"Chris' body's gone!" Beth yells frantically.

Oh sh*t!

"He's disappeared!" Harold gasps.

"The aliens got him!" Lindsay cries.

"You're all idiots," Courtney snaps. "This is a setup. Duncan, go check to see if he's in one of the other cars."

"I'll go, too," I volunteer.

...

"Do you think Chris is actually dead?" I ask Duncan as we search the other cars.

"I hope so."

"Duncan," I laugh.

"Come on, don't tell me he doesn't bug the crap out of you."

"Yeah, you're right," I agree. "I wouldn't be surprised if someone has it out for him. He probably owes the Mafia! And now his his body is missing? How weird! I mean, it was there before we searched the rooftop."

"All I know is, I didn't do it."

"I know," I reassure him. "You're a lot of things, but you're not a murderer."

"Whenever I do my confessionals, it's always Chris and those slimy producers asking me questions about a bunch of crap I don't want to talk about. Like you, and Courtney, it's like they want me to say things that I shouldn't say, and it's annoying."

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well, ya know, it's like when we're fighting, Chris and them are always butting in, it's annoying! And I'm glad he's gone."

"Yeah..." I trail off. "They do the same thing to me, too. And sometimes I think it's actually working."

...

We finally make it back to the others. Chris is nowhere to be found.

"The other cars are empty," Duncan tells everyone. "-What?"

Why is everyone looking at us like that? Ugh, don't tell me-

"These nitwits think you two did it," Courtney says.

"What?!" I gasp.

Perfect, they have my hair and Duncan's hair, too!

"Come on!" Duncan exclaims.

"Chris refused to give Courtney a reward," Harold starts. "Which clearly upset her."
