Author's note.

(Very Important, please read.)

First, there are going to be two chapters posted today, Chapter 88 and Chapter 89. This is Chapter 88. The next chapter is going to be posted really soon, in an hour or so, and for the reason mentioned below, if you choose not to read this chapter, kindly proceed to the next chapter. (Not a spoiler-but an extraordinary scene awaits you all  in the next chapter (chapter 89) (extraordinary in my opinion at least), I can't wait to share it!) Both the updates are really long, please break them into your convenient modules and read them whenever your time permits.

And, did you guys watch the landing of the Chandrayaan-3? My, my. What a brilliant moment it was. I am so, so proud that we, as a nation, managed to achieve it...A soft landing on the south pole of the lunar region...Simply brilliant. I hope all of you did watch it, or if you couldn't atleast saw the numerous reels that are flooding through the social media right now. Please do watch it, it is a moment of pride for all of us. Not only India but as global scientific community, it is a remarkable stride towards science. And, let us also collectively appreciate the dedication and hard work of the teams at ISRO who have worked tirelessly for the Chandrayaan-3 to become a reality.

Now for the reason you guys may choose not to read this chapter,

As you all know, Ayesha and Sahil travelling India are crucial to my story. It's Ayesha's last wish on her bucket list and holds great significance. I was worried about how I could cover all the states in words and time because, believe me, it's a vast country with so much to say.

Even though I've narrowed it down to 16 states in the story, it's still extensive content. Our country has the richest heritage, and if I began to write about it, I'd need an additional 15 chapters to cover each state to its fullest, and still, it would not be enough. But it's critical to the story, and I must include it.

So, I've decided to cover the travel in a diary format. However, Wattpad only allows me to post 20 pictures per chapter, and I wanted to post ten photos for a single state. *teary-eyes* I wanted photos because that makes a travel diary a travel diary, but *sad sigh*. So, I decided not to bring in the pictures at all. :/

This chapter will be journal entries about their travels around India. I know some of you might not be interested in reading it, but I hope you'll give it a chance. It's an effort to understand, realize, and appreciate our country's cultural richness. However, if you're still not keen on reading it, I'd ask you to start from the next chapter. But yes, this chapter does contain scenes apart from journal entries, and I'd suggest reading them at least.

I know this might cause me to lose readers and interest, but I want to write my very first novel as I envisioned it, the way I want to and how my heart agrees with it. :)

And another part is that the diary entries I have written are all based on pure research. I love (trust me when I say love) reading about different states, cultures, traditions and rituals. My research is 100 per cent authentic, is what I believe, but if anything has been portrayed incorrectly, please do NOT hesitate to point it out. I will definitely rectify the same at the earliest.

And I have covered only 15 states and excluded the other states for the simple reason that they have already been covered in the previous chapters of this book; for example, when Sahil and Ayesha visited Goa or Ayesha alone had travelled to a few states, which I have mentioned previously on the novel. There is NO hidden agenda or anything. Given my way, I would have loved to include them again and make it a 28-state and 8-UT travelogue. Lastly, I have always valued criticism; yes, you can comment on my novel. But I will NOT tolerate disgusting comments about my country.
