Days and nights pursued one another with a devised periodicity and swing.

Sahil was becoming increasingly annoyed; for at this moment, every director wanted to work with him because of his escalating popularity and fame. And he was making the headlines repeatedly for his most anticipated film. The entire nation eagerly awaited his film; The Apocalypse. Each song from the movie which released fuelled the hopes of everyone. Every promotional event, so far,  Sahil was sure to make everyone drool from his incredible hotness and bold fashion outlooks.

"No, Jane. " Sahil said exasperated, as he balanced the mobile between his shoulder and ear, placing his leg on his knew, to unravel his shoelaces, "Please tell him, I really would love to work with him, but unfortunately, my schedule is busy and loaded, and I can't find any time in between to shoot for his film. "

I paused in the action of arranging the elaborate dishes on the dining table and looked at him.

"No. No, Jane. Please. I am busy." Sahil responded, bending to place the shoes inside the shoe rack. Jane appeared to have told something annoying, and it irked Sahil to a great extent. "Being busy doesn't imply being having a definite schedule." He stated heatedly, his tone sounding irritated. "It could mean I have tons of other works to do. I have a private life too! And I deserve some single time, after having months of such a hectic schedule! Just deny him and invent an excuse! I. Don't. Care!" He concluded hotly and disconnected the call.

He began to walk towards the dining table, and I forced myself to work again, pretending to stir one of the dishes. He walked to my side and gave me a back hug, resting his chin on my shoulder, his arms looping around my waist.

He stayed like that for more than a minute. I patted his cheek, and Sahil nuzzled his face notably, into the crook of my neck, shaking his head like a child, his hands gripping more tightly on my torso.

"I need a hug!" He complained childishly, "It is so tiring to travel to a faraway place, with Rhea whom I loathe sincerely and promote my film, with her, miles away from Mumbai, and return the same day, being forced to listen to her idiotic chatter in front of the paparazzi, and then attend five calls of Jane who has become extra annoying these days; for a reason, I am not aware! And after facing all this; can't a man deserve a hug?" He protested weakly.

I chuckled. I reached out to pull his cheek and heard a feeble protest but continued anyway. "You, of course, deserve everything in this world, Sahil, " I said softly and felt Sahil smile. I placed down the plate I was holding and held his forearms, that was circled across my waist and closed my eyes.

After two whole minutes, Sahil withdrew and gave me a side peck on my cheek and released his arms. He walked to the other end of the table. He drew a chair and sat down. He gave me a tired smile; visibly wearied by the promotional event that had taken place today.

"The promo? It didn't go well?" I asked anxiously, serving a heaping of curry to him. I paused to look at him, as he eagerly helped himself to savour a piece of paratha and curry. He exhaled contently and shook his head.

"It went perfect! People are more enthusiastic than ever!" He notified me, excitedly. I sighed a breath of relief and scooped a heaping for me, before settling down beside him.

"Akanksha is excited too," I informed him, taking a bite of the paratha. "She can't just wait for the movie to release. All I hear in the cafeteria is Sahil this and Sahil that. "
