"I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms, now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once in a lifetime love." ~ The Vow (2012)

They suggested that one of us could come in the ambulance. I immediately volunteered. I wanted to remain as close to Ayesha as possible.
The ride in the ambulance was painful. The driver rode the ambulance fast as I had my hand in Ayesha's hand.

As soon as we reached the hospital, Ayesha was rushed to the emergency room. I completed all the necessary procedures and formalities. The nurse looked at me strangely and asked what I was doing here and how come I was here for Ayesha. I silenced her with a look.

What people don't understand is that we, celebrities also have great people in our lives. They don't necessarily have to be our kind, caste or like you know, status filled people. They can be simply ordinary people who can be casual labourers or a hotel waitress or anyone. And once people discover your relationship with that person, they can be your loved one, girlfriend, boyfriends or best friend even, they tend not to stop until the news gets viral. They follow you all around, asking you questions that really feels annoying and irritating.

The wait was killing me; the female doctor had told she was stable enough to be moved to the hospital. But then, no one guarthe same after reaching the hospital.

The few hours the doctors took to operate seemed like the longest hours of my life. Life was really unpredictable. A month ago, Ayesha spoke to me so well over the phone; she seemed so cheerful, clueless that hereafter two weeks she would be fighting for her life.

I felt guilty. Very guilty. I should have suspected when Ayesha had stopped calling me. Usually, Ayesha calls me every day and sometimes when she is unable to call for two-three days, she makes up by calling on the fourth day.
So, I was involved in the shoot, and I thought she was busy and didn't bother much when she hadn't called. I felt miserable and heartbroken.

After some time, the doctors came out, and I stood up immediately. When someone close to you is fighting for their lives, you feel helpless and guilty because there is nothing that you can do. Each step the doctor took made my heart beat faster. He stood in front of me and said,

"She has lost a lot of blood. She-"

My heart is thumping hard. I crossed my fingers.

Please, God. Please. Please let her be okay.

"We had to put eight stitches on her shoulder, and we have taken the bullet from her hand. But don't worry, she is out of danger. "He said with a smile.

I breathe out the breath which I didn't know I was holding. I smiled and shook the doctor 's hand.

" Thank you, doctor. Thank you so much."

He smiled in response,

"Can I see her now?"

"Yes. You may, but we need to keep her for observation for 8 hours at least. "

I nodded and almost ran to the room where Ayesha was operated. I felt terrible seeing her like this. I felt pained and hurt. Tubes stuck out in all directions, and she had bandages in her shoulders and her right hand. Her eyes were closed, but I knew she was not asleep. I went close and sat down and kissed her forehead lightly.
