Six years ago.

A few clouds scattered and gave way for the brightest star to grace the sky with his luminous presence. The entire background lit up with a beautiful brightness.

I sat down on a bench, after my regular gym work, pondering about the turns my life had managed to take in the recent months.

I  am a pleased man.

My last three films have been super hits. I have managed to take up all unique and diverse scripts and have performed them in a way that has enthralled the audience. I also have won their hearts. I have managed to make myself a secure place in the industry.

And regarding the awards, its a beautiful tale of its own. I have won a lot of awards and have secured a lot of recognition and appreciation. I won the' Best Actor' award for the 'The Love Story'; my most recent film.

A brief introduction of me begins like this:

My name is Sahil Malhotra, a guy blessed with tremendous acting skills. And then, a guy who loves food and sleep. My hobbies are eating and sleeping. Acting for me, is love!

For my acting career, my parents discouraged me. Discouraged seems a very light word, though.

An ancient tale of me is something like this; I had just joined a famous software company. When the director had asked me to audition, I realised that this is what I wanted, not a 9 to 5 job, sitting in a tech company from morning to evening.

The director pleased with the audition shortlisted my name for the final selection. But this meant that I had to quit my job, because of the increasing pressure and inability to balance between work and acting.

After hours of inner debates, I  went to my boss and gave my resignation without consulting my parents.

The after-effects included a significant dissatisfaction, anger from my parents and a lot of gossip for my over-enthusiastic relatives.

There was a time when the director almost selected a different candidate but due to some internal clashes and (my good luck) the director ended up with me.

The script was a simple one, and for me, being the first film, I was over-enthusiastic and did the movie with my full heart.

The film performed much in the box office and me gaining a lot of popularity and movies from different directors. It was after this did my relatives calm down, but a stupid journalist had written an article on the love affair I had with Siya (the costar for my first film), and well my relatives have gotten a different topic for gossip.

And since then, I am leading a life of dreams, filled with happiness and joy. But...

*****

Signing up for 'The Love Story.' has made me famous for many reasons.

First, it would mark my first film with the best director Kumar Singh, one of the most talked-about and the best director of our generation and Rhea, the incredibly beautiful and the most desired actress of the industry, was my co-star. Our chemistry became one of the main reasons for the film to be a super hit.

Our dance in a song was so beautiful that Kumar Singh stood up and clapped at the end. He never appreciates our work directly! Me wearing a suit, with Rhea wearing a pink gown embroidered with Roses, the music and of course our chemistry made the lyrics more beautiful, and this precise song became a super hit. But more essential features do include, the direction, sets and our acting. Our fans continued to say that Rhea and I would make a great pair.
