"What do you mean you don't have two rooms?" I exclaimed to the receptionist.

"Im sorry mam, there has been a technical error-"

" But you sent us a confirmation mail! "

"There has been a technical er-"

"Now, what do we do?" I asked, cutting the receptionist with a glare.

"There is only one room?" Sahil asked the receptionist.

"Yes, sir. "

"Give us a minute. Let us speak over it. " and I pulled Ayesha out of earshot.

"Ayesha, we worked so hard for a vacation. Why not we make use of it?"

"But Sahil-"

"Hey, you don't have to worry. Im not going to do... Anything" he whispered in a low voice.

"I didn't mean that Sahil!" I shouted quite quickly. I added in a low voice "I don't have a problem with you. It was just that... If you might have a problem..."

"Ayesha!" He rolled his eyes and put his arms around my shoulders. I felt the warmth from his closeness.

We had directly arrived from Darjeeling to Goa. After spending three nights in Darjeeling, Sahil decided that we must come to Goa. I couldn't agree better than that, because, in a very corner of my great mind, I was tired of wearing sweaters, mufflers, gloves and all other woollens. As Sahil had made all the bookings, he had anticipated my tiredness and had booked tickets for Goa just at the right time, and I couldn't thank him better for that.

I fell his hand across my shoulder drop as we reached the reception counter.

"It's okay. We have decided to occupy a single room."

"Thank you, sir. Its been an inconvenience from our side. I apologise, "

"You don't have to." Sahil winked, and I threw him a mild glare.

"Sir, your luggage will be brought to your room. I will escort you to your room right now. "

As she walked ahead of us, I felt Sahil linking his arm with mine. She walked us to a glass lift, and on the way showed us the personal spa, gym, swimming pool, hotel and the small mall the restaurant offered.

She unlocked the room 403, and after opening the door handed over the keys to me. As Sahil went ahead to explore the place, she bent forward and whispered to me, "Congratulations, " with a smile on her face.

I blushed and mumbled, "Thank you. "

Womenfolk I tell you. Are the best understandable creatures.

The room had a big hall, with a sofa, TV and a couch in the corner. A bedroom was present with a big king-sized bed, and huge wardrobes. There was also a balcony open to the big, long, and majestic Arabian Sea.

Sahil dropped himself on the sofa, exhausted.

"You get tired so quickly, " I remarked, as I removed the coat I had worn and hung it on a dress hanger nearby.

Sahil gave a sluggish smile and raised his hand indolently, and I took it. Immediately, I felt myself sitting beside him. He put an arm around my shoulders and brought his head closer so that our both heads were touching. I took hold of his hand and interlocking his fingers.

"We are in Goa, how long are we here again?" I asked.

"Three nights, " Sahil responded, flummoxing his fingers with sheer enthusiasm.
