We stood at the India Gate and posed for the media. I was filled with beams of white light as the paparazzi continued to take photographs, and I continued to smile.

Tired of the posing, I went to drink some water and decided to take a break.

After drinking water, I knew I was wrong. Cause, numerous fans ran towards me. And the annoying part was each had a mobile device, and each wanted to have a separate pic with me, which meant like I had to pose for a thousand photos.

I could be rude and tell them to move away, but once upon a time even I was like this. I used to come to the India gate and wait for celebrities to appear. Movie stars came for their film promotion and cricket players also appeared once in a blue moon.

As the evening, approached the sky was filled with numerous colours spread on the horizon, and the sun moved to pursue his western course. And what a fantastic view it was.

A picture was a must.

I first took a picture of the view and then wanted a photo of myself in the scenery. I looked around to find if someone was there but found everyone busy with themselves.

A girl was sitting nearby reading something. She wore a pink salwar kameez. Her hair was pulled over to one side, and the dupatta clung on her hand side.  She looked pretty.

I approached her.

"Excuse me, "

"Yes?"

Her black eyes met my brown ones.

"Could you please take a photo of me, with that view?"

"Yes, of course."

I handed over my mobile to her, and she after various adjustments clicked photos of me.

However, when I went to her to take back my mobile, a crowd of fans surrounded me. They took photos, shook hands.

Occasionally, I would look up and find the girl standing at the same place with a feeble smile on her face. Even with the feeble smile, she looked, so damn good. She held my mobile in one hand and adjusted her dupatta again.

After half an hour( seemed like a day!!) I walked to her tired. The sun had almost sunk, and the sky was bright orange.

"Thank you. " I said.

" No problem." she flashed me a smile.

Such a pretty smile.

" I wasted half an hour of your time. I made you wait for so long. I'm sorry". I said.

She handed me my mobile and told:

" I've been waiting for years. What's half an hour??"

She gave me a sad smile and walked away from me.
