Sahil

Well, Ayesha and I became best friends in the next two weeks.

We met every day at different times and different locations Mumbai could offer with Juhu being the most frequent one.

Firstly, after my morning shoot, I return home and have a quick nap. Then I called Ayesha, and she would be like "I'm in a painting class" conveying the message that she wasn't free right now.

Then my texting begins,

Ayesha.

Sahil.

Come on; I am getting bored.

But I am not free.

When will you be free, Miss??

In an hour or two...( why the Ms.??)

Just felt like it. In an hour or two??

Yes.

(After 10 minutes...)

Fine. I'm coming in another half an hour. Where should I come??

I'll tell you that soon.

But I never told her that. I immediately leave in my BMW and go wherever she is. She came out of her painting class, with a phone in her hand. I saw her from my car window and noticed her take out her phone and frown. She then calls someone, and I realise that it is me as my mobile begins to ring.

" Where are you, Sahil? You did not message me at all. " Ayesha is shrieking from the other end.

"I'm sorry Ayesha. I immediately got a call from the director. I am at the shoot right now." I said, urging myself not to laugh.

"Sahil Malhotra, are you kidding me?? I have bunked my classes, and you went to the shoot without even telling me?? One text Malhotra.." She continued to yell in her mobile.

(Oh. Yea. My full name is Sahil Malhotra.)

"Fine, fine. " I said. I could not control my laughter any longer.

" Look before you speak, Miss. Look behind you." I chuckled.

She looked behind and saw me and gave me an eye roll. She came forward to my black BMW and opened the door and sat beside me. Her face was red with embarrassment. I snickered.

"It's not funny, Malhotra."

" It is from Miss. It is."

" Why are you calling me, Miss??" She asked me for changing the subject.

"Just felt like it."

She didn't ask me any questions.

I smiled to myself and began the ride.

"Where are we going?? " Ayesha asked suspiciously.

"You'll see".

We reached the Askhe beach at around 4 p.m.
Askhe beach is situated in Malad and is one of the cleanest beaches I have seen.

We occupied the space right in front of the sea, and the sea breeze blew out on our faces.

" What do you like more: seas or mountains?? And by our trips, I am guessing that it is the sea." Ayesha asked

"You guessed it right, Ayesha. It's seas that I prefer."

"Why??"

"I don't know. I think it is because seas help me think. Think about stuff. It makes me feel calm and composed." I said.
