A/N:

Nah, kidding. I am not going to bore you guys with a brief note that suspiciously ends up long. This is an update of 6400 words, so please break it up as per your convenience. Hope you like the update. Happy reading!

Sahil

Do you know the kind of love where the face of your beloved is seen everywhere? That kind of love where violins are heard everywhere? That kind of love where electric jolts are felt just by merely thinking of that person?

Do you know the kind of love where every breeze carries their fragrance? That kind of love where each word is a serenade, and every moment a sonnet? That kind of love where the world seems to conspire in your favour, painting a canvas of euphoria with every passing day?

This is the kind of love from which there is no recovery.

It courses through your every vein, a relentless, wild force.

That was the love I had for Ayesha.

Insane. Passionate. Consuming. Feral. Wild. Unrestrained. Unbridled.

As we made our way to the airport, I couldn't help but notice Ayesha's gaze fixated on the diamond ring adorning her finger. Her eyes held an intensity of emotion that transcended words – a blend of tenderness, affection, and a deep-seated love that seemed to envelop her entire being.

Her smile, oh, her smile. It was exquisite, a radiant expression of joy and contentment that illuminated her face.

At that moment, I felt an overwhelming urge to kneel and propose to her again, and again, and again, just to witness her like this – bathed in the pure, unadulterated happiness that our love had brought into her life.

"Ayesha," I grinned, "If you keep looking at that ring like that, I might just give into the urge to propose to you again."

Ayesha chuckled, taking her eyes off the ring as she looped her hand into mine, "You are really an 'I-like-shiny-things-but-I'd-marry-you-with-paper-rings' person, Sahil, but there is no denial that I absolutely love this diamond ring. When did you even buy this?" she asked looking at her hand again.

"Just before we left Bangalore, when you were sleeping yesterday afternoon," I reply, leaning ahead to softly kiss her cheek.

Ayesha's eyes widened in surprise, and she playfully swatted my arm. "You sneaky romantic! I can't believe you managed to pull that off without me noticing."

I grinned, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "Well, I had to keep it a secret, right? And seeing that look on your face was worth it."

She blushed slightly, a warm smile on her lips. "You always know how to make me feel special, Sahil."

"As long as I have you by my side," I said, gazing into her eyes, "every moment is special. I cannot picture spending my days with someone who didn't make my world ablaze every time I think of her. "

Crimson abounded Ayesha's cheek as she gave me a shy smile. I couldn't help but be captivated by how her cheeks turned crimson, like a delicate rose in bloom. Like brightest red diffusing into monochromatic ivory.

As we settled into our seats in the waiting arena, the bustling airport fading into a distant background, our fingers naturally intertwined, forming a silent yet powerful connection. The world seemed to melt away, leaving us in our cocoon of shared affection.

"Sahil?" she began gently, "How have you imagined your wedding?"

"Honestly, Ayesha, I've never really thought about it before," I admitted, my gaze fixed on the mole below her left ear. "None of my previous relationships ever felt like this. It's like everything I thought I knew about love and commitment has been rewritten since I met you."
