Sahil

Ayesha walked ahead, trying to inhale and remember the moments, while I walked behind smiling at her over-enthusiastic figure.

She had developed a sudden craze to capture photographs. And paused every 10 minutes, and ran over to me with her DSLR and snapped photos of me.

After our breakfast, we returned to our room and gathered our essentials. She changed into a rich navy blue kurta with white leggings and preferred to leave her hair open, going her curls to bounce merrily in the open air. She had also worn a small blue bindi and silver bangles which made her appear more traditional and divine. Her earrings we're the same jade ones which I had gifted her, and a thin gold chain by her father clung on her neck.

She had obtained her DSLR out of nowhere and was keen to click every photo of us.

"It will be a good remembrance of our moments and memories, " she always said.

In Darjeeling, she had captured a hundred photos of mine, with eerie expressions, playing with the snow, having a bit of snow on my nose, and sneezing when I had caught a slight cold and all other weird moments. She was also an excellent candid clicker.

"Sahil, Sahil, a photo!" She ran towards me as I sighed, and put my arm around her. She gave a beautiful smile and gestured me to look at the camera.

"Sahil, yaar!" She said warily, "where are you looking? I am going to delete this photo! I know you are wary of taking pictures, but you can at least do this for me, can't you? "

"But I am looking at you. You gave such a beautiful smile. " I said sincerely.

Crimson covered her face as she looked at the photo, "Perhaps it isn't that bad. I'll keep it!"

I shook my head with a smile as she walked ahead. She bent on a knee and adjusted the camera and with concentration, glared into it, before capturing a photo of the splendid Arabian Sea.

After catching two more clicks, she rushed to me to give me company for my walk.

"The paparazzi... They don't know you are here?" She asked worriedly.

"It's a matter of time." I groaned. "My PA has been able to manage till now, but soon they will get to know about it."

"They know about me...about us?" She asked in a hushed tone.

"I hope not. " I said, fixing my view at sea.

"You don't want to reveal our relationship?" She asked after a slight pause.

"It's not that! " I say, looking at her. "It's just that I want to keep you away from the world of Paparazzi! I don't want people to follow you and ask you numerous irritating questions just because of me. And especially after the company fiasco, I want you to stay away from the Paps. "

"That's there, " she said, brushing her strand of hair and walked ahead a few steps.

I grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards me, cupping her face. "Hey, you mustn't think that I am eliminating you! I just want the best for you. I want you to be away from the world of cinema!"
