47. Zenny

The next morning Sanji made a big breakfast and everyone was sucking up to the old man giving out portions of their food. You and Zoro were skeptical about everything the man looked a little too energetic to be dying. "Do you really think he's dying?" You asked Zoro as you both watched Zenny get special treatment. "He looks healthy to me." You bit into the shrimp that Sanji caught the previous day. We weren't allowed to consume any of the goats as they were Zenny's friends.

A couple of days later

We were fixing the boat that the old guy. "Guys hasn't the old guy been around for longer than expected." Zoro brought our attention to the fact that Zenny was doing better than okay. "Now that you mention it, he has been doing pretty fine." Nami stated. "Guys its actually been a whole week." Sanji said. Now we were just slaving away for the pleasure of Zenny and we had to leave soon for it wouldn't be long before those marines caught up with us.

"Hey guys down there." Usopp stated and it was a marine ship approaching. We went down to get a closer look at what was happening. We reached down ready to confront the marine guys and the dude was acting weird. Zenny had previously explained his dream to become pirate King which obviously was a pipe dream or not depending on which route he took. The marine started talking to us. "I am Sergeant Minchy and I'm not here to attack. If I wanted to I would've come with more ships after all straw hat beat the warlord Crocodile."
We all looked at each other then back at the marine.

"I hope Zenny is doing well." He said forgetting nobody mentioned the old man.

"How do you know that name we didn't say anything about him." Nami had sniffed out his error rather quickly while Chopper sniffed out something else. "There's a lot of gun powder in the air." Chopper said.

"It's probably from their canons."

"No it's coming from more than one ship." The fog cleared and there the other war ships were ready to ambush us. "So they were just going to attack us after we set off." Zoro had his hand on the hilt of his sword ready to fight. That's when Usopp came down with a sword on his throat. They were threatening us. Frankly this was some bullshit.

Time skip

After a lot of work, fighting and escaping we finally got off that island. Zenny was safe and the greedy marine was done for, even his subordinates did not appreciate the idea of going side hunting for treasure.
"How did you even get lost going in a straight line?" You had lost all hope for Zoro unless we found a magician soon there was no sure way to break the curse.

He didn't reply but just threw you a dirty look. "Looking at me like that won't let you know left from right." You said but then you had to dodge the katana coming down on you. "If you want to fight just say so." He taunted and you materialised Adira. "I haven't tested the new blade yet this is the perfect chance to do so."  You got into a stance when you felt the back of your head throbbing. "Whyy!?" You had crouched down on the ground holding your head. "Would you two stop it we've already reached the next island." Chopper got off and started walking toward the town when a guard stopped him.

"You have to pay tax if you want to enter."
"Why would we pay tax? We just need some supplies."Nami tried to explain our situation.
"Listen woman you pay or you leave." He was now pointing his gun at her.

"Don't you dare talk to a lady like that." Sanji said. "Meshi!!" Luffy went running through and even crashed through the tax collector. Now we had to go after Luffy. Usopp went ahead and Zoro stayed to look after the ship. "Well we have to go after him at some point." You said to Robin. You both walked down to where Usopp was looking for the direction in which Luffy went.

"Have you guys perhaps seen a rainbow mist?" This peaked Robin's attention and Usopp was rather confused.

We were now in a restaurant eating food listening to the man who is a researcher.  Usopp was treating us and he was loosing a lot of money. The waiter warned us about the professor saying that he was Wetton's dog. Everyone began eating faster whispering. "Flip is coming," that's when the door opened.  He walked up to one of the guys struggling to down their drink. "You need to pay the drinking tax for drinking." The guy tried arguing that he needed to take care of his family and the guy still demanded tax. How mean. But you did the same thing to that one guy in logue town so you're no different.

He walked up to your table and saw Luffy stuffing his face with spaghetti. "You're eating a whooping plate of spaghetti so you must pay a whooping tax for it."

Luffy pointed to Usopp. "He's the one paying."  We walked out of there with Usopp's money gone. I reached into my fanny pack and grabbed a stack of berries to give him since he did just treat us all. "Y/n!!" He had tears in his eyes and he hugged you in appreciation. You were slowly patting his back to comfort him. "You now see that associating with Henzo will only spell trouble." The decision was up to Luffy and knowing Luffy he'd take anything with adventure .

A huge galleon arrived at the docks and Henzo went closer to inspect it. It seems like he knew the ship we also got on and it looked like people had just been here recently.  Henzo's gear starts acting up and he goes back out and we follow. "I've never gotten readings this strong before the rainbow mist should be near." He jumps onto merry and we all start off in the direction of the mist. We can see up ahead it's literally like it is in the name it's just rainbow mist. Zoro is onboard sleeping as we enter into it. "This is the place the book talks about." Robin says. She lowers the book slightly so that you can also read what it says. The old man is looking for something while Luffy and Usopp are looking at everything they can.

"We've stumbled upon Ape's concert they say that once pirates enter they are unable to leave also known as the ship graveyard." Robin explained. Makes sense why there was a lot of wreckage everywhere. The place gave you a weird vibe almost like it was lost in time but what was even more strange were the eyes that had been following the party upon entering.

*Trying to rush the fillers my mind is in marineford and post time skip.. :> But I'll still push forward.
