"So you like her?" Peter asked seriously.

"No...it's more than that."

He looked at me widely at muntik na ring mapatayo. He gazed at Carmella who is currently eating her lunch with her friend from another section.

"Don't look at her, you idiot." I hissed. "Baka makahalata."

He laughed loudly and I let him. He's the one who's been telling me from the very start that I like her but I kept denying it. Basically, he witnessed all of it. And now that I have admitted my feelings, he has the last laugh.

"Tapos ka na?' I asked him smugly but he continued laughing instead.

"Kailan pa? And wow! I should applaud you for recognizing what you really feel." Namamangha niyang sumbat sa akin.

I looked at him irritatingly and then sighs heavily. "You're probably right. I've been feeling this way for a very long time."

"I knew it! You've been in love with her for a really long time. Finally, you met your match, Gaston!" He hit the air like he won a jackpot. "What's the plan?" He asks next.

He looked at me again surprised. "Really? What happened now? Liligawan mo na? Pumayag siyang magpaligaw?"

I looked at him blankly, and from right there, he already knew my answer.

"Oh...I mean, it's kinda expected, I guess? Pero wag mong sabihin na susuko ka na lang?"

I smirked at him and so he smirked too. There is no way I can stop this. There is no way out for me, I am whipped and I admit it. There is no turning back.

And so, this is one of my ways.

The door opened and I quickly fixed my sitting posture. She looked not surprised at all.

"Hi!" I smiled widely.

She came in and put down my orders. I looked at her still while she did her work.

"Wala akong kasamang babae."  I informed her like she needed it.

Cold and distant. She looked at me just like that. "May kailangan pa po ba kayo?"

"What time is your out?" I asked instead.

"It's none of your business." Her cold ass voice could turn me into ice right now.

"It is my business. I need to drive you home after. It is your safety, I won't compromise that!" I answer straightforwardly.

That's sad but it's fine, I still have ways to know her schedule.

I got my cell phone and dialled someone's digit. Two rings and it's up.

"Hello? Yes. What time is her out?"

I smirked upon learning her schedule. It's easy peasy one if you have a connection.

I spent my remaining time eating and drinking what I've got for myself. Hindi ko na siya muling tinawag, I became content with my alone atmosphere inside a loud crazy club. The people out there are partying like crazy while my phone entertained me. This is fine, I'm all good.
