On the eve of their wedding, Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable sat side by side on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean. The sun was setting, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink and casting a warm glow across their faces. Despite the beauty of the scene, Kim couldn't help but feel a sense of unease.
She glanced nervously at Ron. He was so sure of himself, so confident in their future together. But as she looked into his eyes, she couldn't help but wonder if she truly knew him as well as she thought she did.
Kim had been having these thoughts for weeks now, ever since she'd discovered a secret journal belonging to her fiancée. In it, Ron had confessed his true feelings for her. And how he'd always wished they could be more like Shego and Drakken. And the kind of relationship they had.
Kim found herself unable to shake the image of Drakken and Shego together. She wondered what it would be like to experience that intensity in her own life, to feel wanted and desired in such a raw way.
As if sensing her turmoil, Ron placed a reassuring hand on her knee. "Hey, you okay?" He asked, his voice gentle and concerned.
She looked up at him forcing a smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just taking in the view, you know?" She gestured vaguely at the ocean below.
The truth was she didn't know if she was truly fine. The thought of being with Ron, of sharing their life together no longer held the same allure it once did. She couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to explore these feelings with someone else, someone like Shego. The image of them together, their fiery personalities clashing and melding in the heat of passion filled her mind.
Kim looked into his eyes wishing she could find the words to explain how she was feeling.
As if sensing her discomfort, Ron shifted uncomfortably on the rock beside her. He reached out, taking her hand in his. "Look, Kim, I'm not perfect. Nobody is. If there's something you need to get off your chest you can tell me. We can work through this together." He squeezed her hand gently.

Kim looked into his eyes, searching for some sign that he understood what she was feeling. But all she saw was love, unwavering and unyielding. And it was that love, more than anything else that made her heart ache. She wanted to be honest with him and to tell him how she felt. But she knew that once she did, their relationship would never be the same again.
She took a deep breath, steeling herself for the inevitable confrontation. "Ron," She began, her voice shaking slightly. "There's something I need to tell you." He squeezed her hand tighter with anticipation and dread. "I . . . I've been reading your journal."
Ron's face fell. "Oh." He said, flatly. He let go of her hand and looked away, shoulders slumping. "I shouldn't have kept that from you."
Kim shifted uncomfortably on the rock. "It's not that, Ron. I mean, I get why you kept it a secret. It's just - there were things in there that made me feel . . ." She trailed off, unable to continue.
Ron turned back to her, his expression pained. "You mean about me being in love with you?" He asked.
Kim felt a lump forming in her throat. "No, I knew that!" She said carefully. "It's more about Shego and Drakken."
Ron's eyes widened in surprise. "What about them?"
"You want us to be more like them. The way they found love after the alien attack. How that brought them together. I know we were together too. It's just, it's me. I know it's me. I wanted to save myself for my wedding night. You've been waiting almost two years now. I do want those intimate things too. I just want to be prepared and sure." Kim said to him.
