Some days, I pray for someday
and some days, I give up on someday
because Sundays
are the loneliest of days
the most hated day
of the week, because every other day
some day seems possible.
Some days, I want to give up
on you
and me
and everyone else that day
because some days, someday seems so far away.
Would you promise me, that one day
we'd have ourselves a someday
and looking back on that day
we'd laugh about that one day
that gave us some more days
together for the rest of our days
some days, someday?
