from you

I considered you family once

and although I may say something like

"I've been busy."

or "I've been going through stuff."

that isn't the full truth

I just have a tendency

to leave people

sooner or later

because people

aren't

permanent

we'll all be gone

sooner or later

so if I have to leave

sooner rather than later

I'd rather

because I don't want

to stay

and hurt

you all

and I know my leaving

hurt too

but in my mind

it was the lesser

of two evils

and maybe it was a bad decision

but it's the only decision

I make.
