I'll Write About Pandas

I tried to write about pandas,
and how pandas are metaphors for human life,
but instead, I ended up writing about you,
and how I wanted to know what your soul looks like,

because pandas are hard to write about,
seeing as poetry is not a scientific research paper,
but I thought I could write about pandas,
turns out that I can't,

but I guess I could write about how pandas are cute,
and how you are too,
and leave writing about your soul,
for the next poem.
