Squish

This is new. I'm anxious and excited and everything all together all at once, just a hurricane of emotion. For once, this hurricane isn't a hurricane of sadness and madness; it's a hurricane of pure happiness. That's a new concept to me.

I'm used to simply enduring the day, hoping and praying that the next day will be better. You, on the other hand, take a simple day and make it something absolutely precious. Your optimism is the reason I wake up happy in the mornings.

Even if we don't have the chance to see each other some days, you still find a way to make everything you say personal to me, make good memories. I have to thank you for that. You've never given up on me, and that's something I'm not used to, but it feels great.
