Boogie looked at Najah then mugged her. She felt bad so she tried hugging him but he didn't hug her back.

He didn't cry often but her telling him no really made him want to, he just felt really let down and disappointed.

"Bae" She dragged out kissing on his face. "Move offa me."

"Why? I didn't mean to hurt yo feelins i'm sorry."

"Ite, get offa me."

"No"

"Fine, they can have your last name and we can still get engaged too."

"Nah you said what you said. Guess we not gettin' married then." He sighed closing the box.

"I wanna get married but inna few years. I'm technically still married and marriage lost its value to me a while ago."

"Youn wanna get married to me just say det I rather you be honest wit me and yoself E'najah."

"I'm being honest Asaad. I gotta take one step at a time. When we hit a year then we can talk about marriage, okay?"

"OKAY?!"
"Ite"

"Now gimme a kiss n get out yo feelins."

Boogie kissed her lips a few times then she sat next to him. "I want you to have my last name before anybody else."

"I know, if my situation was different then I would but I can't right now bae."

"So youn want da ring?" He asked looking down at it. "Of course I do... put it on my finger." She responded putting her hand out.

"When we gone make it official?"

"When then babies turn two. That will give me time to get myself together and plan the wedding I deserve. We'll be a lil older and hopefully we'll buy a house together too."

"Deal?"

"Deal"

Boogie took the engagement ring out the box and slid it on her finger before kissing her again. At first her answer was no but she never directly said that.

She rethought it for a little and changed her mind. Even if her and Boogie weren't gonna be together for the rest of their lives she still wanted to give it a try one day.

"I love you." Najah spoke while hugging him.
