Najah looked up at Boogie then kissed his lips. Their audience started cheering and clapping for them making her feel a little excitement.

Their favorite song to listen to together played as they began exiting the church together.

Everyone followed them outside then Boogie picked her dress up and helped Najah into the black truck getting in after her.

"What you smilin' at?" He asked after shutting the door. "Fuck you" She responded immediately dropping her smile.

"We not finna do allis today. Just chill out. Ian spend allis money fa no reason."

I guess you could say their relationship wasn't the best at the moment. They just decided to still have their wedding because it was already paid for.

They weren't doing terrible but they could definitely be doing way better.

"Why can you never just be happy?" Najah questioned "Do sum to make me happy n I might be." Boogie shrugged

"That hurt my feelings Asaad."

"Ion give a fuck."
"Okay"

Najah put her hands over her face and broke down crying. Boogie smacked his lips then moved her hands.

"We gone have to figure our shit out. We posta be happy today but we ain't. Ian mean to make you cry n shit bae."

"You don't love me no more. What did I do?" She asked genuinely wanting to know. "People just grow apart but i'm willin' to fix shit witchu."

Najah felt like he was falling out of love with her. She wasn't getting the same Boogie she started dating a few years ago.

She mainly thought it was because she had kinda let herself go after having the girls. She was now a stay at home mom and never really got cute how she used to.

He still thought she was beautiful but she didn't keep up with herself. Boogie tried setting up appointments for her but she turned him down every time.

Najah just didn't feel like her and she wasn't going to try to force herself to feel good. Trying to chase her dreams, be a full time mom and wife was hard while all Boogie really did was work.

He obviously helped tale care of the girls but it seemed like he always let Najah take over because she was the more educated parent.

"I love you, you know det. We gone get dis shit right soon." Boogie kissed her lips then dabbed the tears off her face with a napkin so he wouldn't mess up her makeup.

"You look so, so beautiful today too. Ian gone stop sayin' det shit either." He told her for the third time today. "I don't feel like it."

"But you is. Iono what you goin' through but stop it, cs you know you beautiful. You depressed a sum?"

"I don't know Asaad." She shrugged "We gone figure it out bae. I love you still no matter what, you hear me?"

"Yea I hear you. I love you more." She responded before kissing him again.

They made it to the reception venue and took pictures before changing into something more comfortable.

"Mommy!" Ivory yelled "What girl?" Najah asked picking her up.

"I want cake."

"You can have a small piece cs you know you act crazy off the sugar."

Ivory wore small purple glasses, she reminded Najah of Lavender from Matilda. They looked so cute on her so it was hard to tell her no most times.
