Is It Over Now?

Chapter 1: Out of the Woods...

"Kookie! At last! We are done!" Jin said as soon as he slumped down on their newly bought couch. "Moving is really hard."

"I know, yeobo. But it's worth it as long as I get to live with you." Jungkook said when he sat beside Jin and suddenly kissing Jin's lips. "I love you." He said when he pulled away from Jin.

"I love you, too." Jin said and smiled at his boyfriend.

They are dating for 3 years and decided to level it up 6 months ago by looking for a home together after college. The house they chose was few meters away from their workplace. They both graduated in business management and were hired in the same company.

"I didn't expect we have a lot of things." Jin commented.

"I know right. But it's fun doing this with you."

"I totally agree." Jin said jumping over Jungkook's lap and kissing his boyfriend passionately. He was devouring his boyfriend's lips when he suddenly heard a click and a quick flash of light.

Jin looked over the source and he saw Jungkook's hand with the polaroid. He smiled and helped Jungkook click another picture.

They looked at the printed film and they were happy looking at their pictures.

Jungkook hugged Jin tightly while the latter is still sitting on his lap. They both feel satisfied living together and enjoying their time in each other's embrace.

Jin pulled the pictures from Jungkook and took a pen, writing the date below the picture: Oct. 8, 2017.

Dec. 4, 2017

"Happy Birthday!" Jungkook said to Jin in a whisper while putting the necklace around Jin's neck.

Jin's eyes was still covered by his hands.

"You can open your eyes now." He said to Jin.

Jin opened his eyes, he immediately saw his reflection in the mirror, and was surprised to see the necklace with a moon shaped pendant around his neck.

"Surprise." Jungkook said backhugging him.

Jin turned around and hugged Jungkook's neck. "Thank you, Kook."

"You're welcome, Yeobo." He said then kissed him deeply.

As soon as Jin opened the door, Jungkook quickly hugged him.

"Hey! What happened? Are you okay?" Jin asked trying to look at Jungkook.

Jungkook hid on Jin's neck and just nodded.

"I cooked dinner while waiting for you. Your department is a little bit on a heavy day today. Were you tired?"

Jungkook just nodded again.

"Okay. Why don't you wash up and then let's have dinner?" Jin said again and Jungkook just nodded once more without pulling away.

Jin just hugged him back knowing his boyfriend is just probably tired.

When Jungkook was ready to pull away, Jin just observed him. His head was low and did not even looked at him. This is the first time Jin saw his boyfriend like that and it kills him to see his Jungkook feel so sad.

He sighed when Jungkook closed the door to their shared bedroom.

It was not the last night that Jungkook had been acting weirdly. Everytime Jin asked what happened at work, he'll just shrug and eat.

Jin felt like their relationship is slowly fading away but he is trying hard to still keep it.

The lack of communication is taking a toll on him.
