Chapter 6: Welcome to New York

Jin was exhausted from the flight and as soon as he settled in his hotel room, he showered and slumped to his bed.

"I'll take care of the rest later." He said to himself.

14 hours of flight plus the waiting time exhausted him a lot.

"I'm tired." He said closing his eyes. He looked at the window and he saw that the sun is almost setting. "I want to sleep." But instead of sleeping, he just stared out at the window.

He stood up and moved closer to the window. He looked down the hotel and saw the road with busy cars.

"It's a busy place." He muttered to himself.

He went back to his bed and travelled to the dreamland right after closing his eyes.

"Welcome to New York!" Jimin shouted as soon as he saw his friend coming down from the hotel's elevator.

Jin was surprised by the shout and jumped in his place.

"Jimin! Do you really have to be that loud?" He said looking at the people staring them.

"I miss you!" Jimin said hugging him. He rolled his eyes at Jimin's dramatic but hugged him back nevertheless.

"Where's Yoongi?" Jin asked his friend after he was done taking the oxygen out of him.

Jimin pouted.

"He's still at work! We will be marrying each other in 3 days and he's still working?"

"Oh, I thought everything was settled down?" Jin asked when he saw the sad face on Jimin's. He remembered Jimin telling him about Yoongi's schedule and he should be taking a break already from work since 1 week ago.

"Unfortunately, your ex-boyfriend had some drama going on so the song was not finalized until 4 days ago."

"Oh." Jin answered not knowing what to say.

"Let's go! Let's have our lunch and your suit should also be ready by now! I'm so excited for you to try it! You'll look a lot like a prince! I am scared that all eyes will be on you instead of me but it doesn't matter. You'll always look handsome anyway whatever you wear and all eyes are always on you." Jimin just kept on blabbering things and Jin was just smiling at him.

Jin just followed Jimin wherever he wanted to take him. As per Jimin, they'll take their lunch first before fitting the suits. It would ensure them that the suit will fit even after they eat.

"I'll have burger." Jin said to the waitress.

"I will have spaghetti bolognese." Jimin said. "You can bring us both bottled water."

"That is noted. We'll just prepare your orders." She said before moving away.

"How was your flight?" Jimin asked as soon as the waitress was gone.

"I'm still having slight headache but I already drank a medicine earlier. I can't miss the only reason why I am here." He said jokingly.

"Oh, you sure can't! My parents will be arriving tonight. I was tired preparing the house earlier. By the way, are you sure that you are good staying in the hotel? We still have a spare room."

"Nah, I'm good. I would prefer not hearing your loud voice early morning."

"You miss my lovely voice!" Jimin said.

Jin smiled at his friend knowing clearly that he is right.

He ruffled his hair as a response instead.
