"You're thinking out loud again." Jimin said upon entering Jin's office.

Jin smiled at him. "I am just preparing myself for the meeting."

"I think we've been friends for a long while for me to know that it is more than that."

"Nothing. My scar was just hurting a bit. How was the wedding plan?"

"You're trying to change the topic." Jimin said. "Anyway, the planning is going well. Yoongi was such a devil at times but with all the planning, he is my angel. You will come at my wedding, right?"

"Of course, why would I not?"

"Well, do you promise?" Jimin asked again, putting his arm on top of Jin's office table and gesturing a pinky swear.

"That's childish, but I promise." Jin said chuckling.

"Okay, whatever. As long as you promise. Anyway, Jungkook will be there as Yoongi's bestman. You know how close they are. But I bet you already moved on so that's fine with you, right?"

The smile on Jin's face suddenly disappeared. "Oh. Yeah, of course. I've moved on." Is the only thing he was able to say.

"He actually attended a party 2 days ago. Did you hear about it?" Jimin asked not really minding his friend's reaction. "He's so famous nowadays. He parted the party like how Moses parted the red sea. When he came, everyone were like giving him way to the center table and everyone were talking about him. Oh wait, I think Yoongi just sent me the video of the event." Jimin said and picked up his phone.

Jimin was busy searching for the video that Yoongi sent to him but Jin's mind was all over the place.

Jungkook had been so famous. He can get whoever he wants. Maybe the break up is really good for them.

"Here!" Jimin said and showed his phone to Jin with a playing video.

Jin saw a lot of people in their formal party dresses. It was then when he saw the people parted and like a shining superstar, he saw a man walking towards the person who was taking the video, who Jin thought was Yoongi.

He then saw him... he saw him. For how many years he tried to avoid seeing him. He never saw a picture of him even once.

Now... he is seeing him. He is there.

He wanted to get the phone from Jimin and pause it. He wants to see more of Jungkook but for what?

He now has a long hair... longer, curly hair. He saw tattoos in his arms, because his dress shirt was pulled up a little bit on the arms, showing some of his skin. His right arm seemed to be full of tattoos.

"What happened to him?" He said to himself.

"He got hotter, right?" Jimin asked with a smirk.

"I asked that too loud?" Jin said covering his mouth suddenly.

Jimin looked at his friend and held his hand. "You miss him?"

Jin's eyes widened. "No! Of course not!"

Jimin just smiled at him.

Jin just sighed. "I just don't know why he had to change himself like that. I know he always wanted a tattoo but I think that's too much but it's his life. Now that we don't talk, I don't know what's on his mind."

"Yoongi said he was nervous being on parties."

"Doesn't look like it."

"He's still the same Jungkook that we know. He's still the same Jungkook that became our friend." Jimin said.

"Does he still gets anxiety on parties like that?"

"Nervous, yes. Anxiety, not really sure."

"I'll never know since I don't talk to him." Jin said. "I shouldn't have done what I did."

"You did the right thing. Imagine living a life with him still when all you both do is fight each other."

"But I did it in a wrong way. Now, he's not even talking to me. He doesn't want to talk to me anymore."

"Jin, that was a long time ago. You both now that none of you can offer friendship. You were both hurt." Jin just looked at the hand holding him currently and smiled.

"Thanks, Jimin."

"This is also hard. Imagine living a life where your friends don't even know how to talk to each other." He said in a joke but was half meant. Jin also just smiled at it.

**********

After talking to Jimin, Jin focused on his work bit it was hard so he called his mom instead.

"Believe it or not, I was expecting your call."

"Oh, you do?"

"I'm still your mom. I still know what's going on in that head of yours. Jimin sent me the video. How do you feel?"

"Eomma..." is all Jin was able to say.

"Seokjin-ah, this is for the best. Get it off your chest, love. Tell me all that you feel. I will be here supporting you whatever your decision is. Tell me, son, what are you feeling seeing him now?"

"It hurts. It still hurts." Jin said then sobbed.

"Oh, son. It will always hurt. But what you did is for the best of both of you. No one will move forward if you did not break up with him. The pain you both are feeling is already too much for both of you to bear. Jimin is right. Fighting everyday won't help you move forward, you'll only keep on pulling each other backwards. You don't trust him anymore the first time he cheated on you. You almost cheated on him, too, just to get back at him. Love was overwhelmed by all the challenges you guys had to face."

Jin did not say anything but his mom was right. Jimin was right. But he knows he is in love. But when he saw Jungkook earlier, he was sure it was pain he felt.

"Are you still there, Seokjin?"

"I am."

"Would you like to go home later? Let's have dinner together. Eversince you started handling the company, you isolated yourself. It's been a year, Seokjin. Can't you just stay at home? Stop renting the apartment, my son."

"I---I want to be alone for now."

"Think about it again, son. Your appa and me will be waiting for you."

"Okay, Eomma."

Jin thought about his mom's words. Everything keeps on echoing in his mind, but his thoughts also travel back to the video of Jungkook.

He thought that Jungkook won't survive parties like those. He would usually rely on Jin to make him feel like the party is just an event. He would usually feel all anxiety seeing a lot of people and people trying to reach out to him. But how would he know if it's still the same when they don't talk anymore.

He shook his head.

"This is too much. I am thinking about him too much." He said to himself. "Jin, it's been years, let him go." He kept on chanting. "Let it go. Let yourself be free."

He wiped his tears with the tissue available. He has a meeting to attend and it's not right to focus on something that is not in front of him.

"Okay, Jin. That's enough. We have to work now."
