I don't understand why we had to do this? I mean yeah we're supposed to be distracting the Genovese's or something like that but why us?
Isaac can't even pretend to be a decent person. He's been basically glaring at Mr. Genovese this whole time. I don't know what exactly his problem is.
Maybe it has something to do with Mr. Genovese? You know maybe he's like a really bad person or something?
True. I probably should've done research on this family before coming here. But in my defense I was busy. Between planning this stupid dinner (which by the way makes no sense to me since it's at THEIR house?!) and buying a outfit and stuff, I haven't had time to do any research.
Once we get to the dining room, Mrs. Genovese walks in, "Oh, hi! I wasn't aware you guys were here already."
"Hey, Mrs. Genovese. How are you?"
"I'm good. And please call me Jenny."
I nod and then everyone looks towards Isaac, who is standing there looking bored as ever. Okay, I get the whole "I hate everyone," thing he has going on but there's no reason to be rude. Especially when we are supposed to be pretending to be nice to these people.
If he gets us killed I swear.
Elbowing him in the ribs and glaring at him so he will say something, he rolls his eyes and says, "Hi."
I hate him. I scoff and mutter under my breath, "Putain de salope." Isaac looks down at me with his eyebrows drawn in confusion so I know he heard me but he obviously doesn't know what I said. (Translation: "Fucking Bitch")
We all sit down. Jenny and Matthew sit on each end of the table and then me and Isaac sit across from each other. (I got tired of writing 'Mr. Genovese' so pretend he said his name was Matthew.)
As Matthew is talking about some shipment he has coming in soon, I feel something hit my leg. Looking up I see Isaac staring at me and he mouths "Look at your phone." I slickly grab my phone without anyone noticing and see that my dad texted me and Isaac.
