Well afterwards I went to an empty compartment to kill the leftover battery in my phone and my headphones. I went in and started listening to music and reading a book on History of the wizarding world. I was practicing multitasking for spy training.

Well about one hour in I started getting bored of reading and then I remembered, the earring. I knew exactly what to do and this was the most perfect time to execute it! I took out and carefully placed it in my hand.

I took the thick silver earring and kept it beside me. Kids don't try this at home. I'm professionally trained for this. I took out a mirror and a needle. I marked the spot I wanted to pierce my ear and I put the needle through it. THE PAIN! ARGH! I tried not to scream and tightly shut my mouth. I pulled out the needle and quickly clipped the earring in.

It was still stinging. It was slightly bleeding not too much. After an hour or so I guess it was fine. My ears were slightly red nothing more. The reason I did this myself, my parents would never allow me to get a piercing until I'm like dead. So if I did it without them knowing the consequences will be bad but they would have to accept it at some point of time.

I don't even want to think about going home for Christmas.

Around 2 hours passed in, and I was back to reading, I couldn't hear music in my headphones anymore cause of the piercing. Then I heard my compartment door open. "Hey" Lily said. "What are you doing? Get out please" I said. "You didn't lock it so I walked in. Well anyways how's life?" She continued ignoring my statement. 

"Potter, I'm not in the mood, find someone else" I said and buried myself into the book. "By the way I think Jennie is searching for you that's why I came to find you, I'll just call her here so-" she said and I immediately pulled her in and closed the door and locked it.

"You could have said that sooner" I said. "She's nice, what's with you and her" she asked me. "I don't like her. She has a crush on me for no reason" I said. "How'd you know that?" She asked. "I can say by the look on someone's face on how they feel" I said lying on the seats. 

"Well, how am I feeling?" She asked. "You wanna annoy me cause its fun for you" I said clearly. At this point Potter's favourite sport is 'Annoying Lysander' over Quidditch.

"Wow, you're not lying" Lily said in awe. Then there was a knock, I slightly opened it and saw outside, It was Lorcan bruh. I opened the door. "You hiding something?" He asked and came in and saw Lily. "Omg, you're in a locked compartment with a girl what were you doing?" He asked with a smug. "Hiding from another girl" Lily said laughing. Not helping Potter.

"Bro what that's insane Ly! You're enjoying your life!" Lorcan said. "Stop being absurd, it's nothing like that" I said and explained to him about the incidence. 

"Oh-" he said disappointed.

"Lysander right?" I heard a girl voice squeak behind Lorcan. "No, I'm Lorcan, he's Lysander my twin. What do you want?" Lorcan said pointing at me and asking her smiling with all his teeth out. 

WAS HE MAD? THAT WAS JENNIE THAT STUPID GIRL RIGHT THERE WHO I TOLD HIM ABOUT BEING CREEPY TO ME. 

"Oh Lysander!" She said and came in ignoring Lorcan. "Hey Lily" she said and looked at Lily. "Oh by the way I just thought you know. I want to be friends with you" she said giving me some chocolates. "Sweets can't buy friends" I said with a poker face, annoyed. "But a good heart can, this is just as a gift from me" she said. 

"I don't want to be your friend" I said annoyed and turning away my face to look at Lily. What's wrong with people these days. "Ok, I'll be your friend! You don't have to be mine" she said and handed the chocolates to Lorcan and said "Let's be friends". 

Nowadays there are stuff called one-sided friendships, Oh! someone save this world.

"Sweets can buy friends in my opinion" Lorcan said and laughed. NO.. WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?? 

"See you around" she said and left.

"LORCAN IS YOUR IQ ACTUALLY NEGATIVE?" I asked him seriously after she left. "Chocolates" he whined. "You're incorrigible" I said. "WAIT? Is that a piercing" Lily asked. My non-existent love for Lily went up. Finally someone noticed. "YO? WHEN DID YOU GET THAT?" Lorcan asked. "Just now, I did it myself" I said.

"Are you insane are you sure there will be no complications?" He asked. "I took the chances" I said tucking my hair behind my ear. "You know you're dead after mom sees that" Lorcan informed. "I told you I took my chances" I repeated. "It kinda looks cool, makes you look like a delinquent, you know the earring and your hairstyle your black dressing" she said. "Lily, I'll get you a drink and many chocolates in Hogsmeade" I said giving a slight smile in delight.

"Thanks, I guess my work is done then" she said and left. "You should join us" Lorcan said. "Well, I guess that'll work" I said and went to join my friends in the compartment. Well that day went on. We reached Hogwarts and had dinner. Then it was time to go into our dorms. That was when I realised. 

Oh Potter! She's must have done it. I was prepared to face this already. I have left my self-respect, reputation and dignity in the great hall. I would pick it up tomorrow morning if the joke is over. 

"So guys" Val started. "Val let's first lie down for a bit I'm done for today" Jared said. "I agree, my body can't function anymore" Hugo said half asleep. Lorcan looked at me. I looked back. It was a way of saying 'you're so dead Lysander' and my reply was 'I don't care'.

We entered the room. I closed my eyes in horror. That bastard actually put so much effort in sticking the photos all around the walls and even the bed frames. The guys immediately started laughing and took the joke. Jared took a photo and brought it close to my face and asked me laughing, "That's you right?" 

"No, its you are you blind" I told him sarcastically with a poker face.

"SURPRISE!" Lily said jumping from behind the door which gave the guys a heart attack. Lily started laughing and everyone was laughing except me. 

"You guys made up?" Jared asked. "Yeah, you both were like fire and fire last year" Val added squeaky laughing, still. "I guess we did, but he's always my loser no matter what happens" Lily said. "Your Loser?" Hugo added frowning. "Yeah mine" she said with straight eyebrows. Jared, Val and Lorcan started laughing, "Don't worry he's YOUR Lysander, no one's gonna steal him" they said in chorus.

"I said he's my loser who gets bullied by me cause he's not as good as me and to make myself clear, I don't like him" Lily said. Thanks for clarifying that but, they're still gonna troll me so no use.

What a way to start a new year.
