"Chocolate ice cream, darling, would be perfect."

Tom Riddle, still reclining on the swing with a peacock perched on him, raised an amused eyebrow at Draco's whimsical request. With a shake of his head, he sat up, gently displacing the peacock onto the grass, and summoned a house elf.

The eager elf swiftly returned with a bowl of chocolate ice cream and a spread of actual food. The two indulged in companionable silence, savouring the flavours in the peaceful garden. After a satisfying round of eating, Tom, with a raised eyebrow, inquired if Draco wanted something more substantial.

Draco declined the offer and instead extended a spoonful of ice cream towards Tom. The dark lord, not one to resist an invitation, completely ignored that spoonful of ice cream and instead leaned in and surprised Draco with a kiss, capturing the taste of the cold dessert on his lips and tongue.

Spluttering and wide-eyed, Draco found himself turning into a blushing mess. Tom, smirking at the unexpected reaction, let Draco regain his composure. Draco playfully shoved him, the blush still evident on his face.

As they contentedly ate their fill, the setting sun casting a warm glow on the garden, the pair decided to head back inside the manor, hand in hand. However, the tranquillity of the moment was short-lived, as the saying goes—good moments only last so little.

Quite unfortunately for Lucius Malfoy. He walked into the couple while they were heading back to Draco's room. Lucius Malfoy stood frozen, his usually composed demeanour shattered by the sight before him. The intertwined hands of his son, Draco, and the Dark Lord, The Malfoy Lord never thought he'd remain alive to see any of this.

Tom Riddle, ever perceptive to the discomfort he caused, let go of Draco's hand and snaked his arm around Draco's waist before tightening his grip, a possessive gesture that sent a ripple of tension through Lucius. The silent exchange spoke volumes—challenging conventions, defying expectations, and asserting dominance.

Draco, sighed in resignation, at his mate's antics. He was never one to back down. He knew the repercussions this display would invite, yet the warmth of Tom's hand in his provided a sense of security he had never experienced before.

Tom, unaffected by Lucius's attempts at intimidation, inclined his head in acknowledgement. "Merely enjoying a stroll in the garden with my consort. Is there an issue, Lucius? You seem....troubled."

The word "consort" hung in the air, causing Lucius to choke on thin air. A Crucio would be better than this. The revelation that his son had become entangled in a relationship with the Dark Lord fueled the fire of his disapproval.

Lucius took a step forward, eyes narrowing. "Nothing, my lord. Nothing is wrong at all" said Lucius meekly.

Draco hesitated, trying not to laugh at his father's predicament. Well, how is a man supposed to react when he finds his son having an affair with his boss? The facts that said boss was extremely hot, said son had given his consent and the said man had been abusive in the past were important pieces of information Lucius would do well to not forget about.

Tom, sensing the internal struggle, spoke with a calm authority. "Farewell, Lucius. Let us go to your room Draco, we have matters to attend to."

Draco burst out into laughter, it echoed through the corridor, as Lucius disappeared. Tom, smiling in response to his mate's happiness, guided Draco towards his room. However, just before stepping inside, Tom halted Draco with a gentle touch on his arm.
