Apparating back to the Malfoy Manor, Harry felt like a layer of dirt and grime that had been previously stuck to his body had been cleaned off. Every move he made sent chills down his body because it felt as if he was feeling air for the first time in his life. Harry suddenly became aware of every little hair on his body. Harry had to admit that it was a nice, soothing feeling though.

As he sank into the soft sheets of the bed, a space that had subconsciously become his own within Draco's room these past few weeks, Harry relished the soothing embrace of the room.

Moments later, Draco entered the room, bearing two elegantly crafted trunks. The leather exteriors were adorned with intricate wood and metal detailing, adding a touch of sophistication to the packing process. Draco gently urged Harry out of bed, emphasizing the need to prepare for their imminent return to Hogwarts, causing the ravenette to groan. Draco tutted in a very mother-like way and sent Harry a look of disappointment which was what caused the green-eyed boy to finally get out of bed. Working in harmony, they efficiently packed their clothes, recently acquired books, and other everyday essentials.

By the time both Draco and Harry were finished with the meticulous task at hand, the evening sun had already bathed the room in a warm orange glow. The air inside was filled with a serene chill, creating an atmosphere that whispered of anticipation for the adventures awaiting them at Hogwarts. Harry couldn't help but appreciate the newfound sense of peace that seemed to have settled over him, intertwining seamlessly with the excitement that tinged the prospect of the upcoming school year.

The morning sunlight filtered through the high windows of Malfoy Manor on one September 1st, casting a gentle glow across the elegant chambers. Draco, already engaged in the preparations for the journey to Platform 9¾, was momentarily interrupted by the Dark Lord's request.

"Draco, love, mind following me? I have a surprise for you," said Tom, his crimson eyes holding a mysterious gleam.

Blushing at the term of endearment, Draco nodded in agreement and followed Tom, the anticipation growing within him. They descended through the grand halls of the manor, and Draco couldn't help but wonder about the surprise awaiting him.

As they neared the dungeons, Draco's confusion grew, but he chose to remain silent. The Dark Lord led him to a particular cell, and as they both came to a stop, Tom turned to Draco with a secretive smile. Without a word of explanation, he lifted Draco up in a bridal embrace, eliciting a surprised yelp from the blonde.

Confusion etched on Draco's face, he gazed at Tom for answers. Sensing Draco's uncertainty, the Dark Lord spoke reassuringly, "We wouldn't want you to get your clothes dirty, would we?"

Though the statement raised more questions than it answered, Draco nodded in agreement, trusting that all would become clear in due time. Held securely in Tom's arms, Draco couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and excitement about the unexpected surprise awaiting him behind the door of that cell.
