"Did you see anyone that you recognized?" Dumbledore questioned Evalyn and Fabian. Both Gideon and James were sleeping after being healed. Fabian furrowed his brows and shook his head.

"They were wearing masks and cloaks with their hoods up."

Dumbledore turned to Evalyn, "What about you dear?" She silently shook her head no. "Are you positive?"

"I'm positive." Her eyes flashed up to the headmaster's. "They saw me use my powers though. I'm sure one of them told their leader."

Dumbledore smiled gently at her, "Let them see you Evalyn, you will do great things." She rolled her eyes and played with the rings on Sirius' hand.

"If you don't mind, I have a wedding to get ready for tomorrow." She scooted her chair out and headed towards the stairs.

A hand lightly grabbed her wrist and she halted. Fabian pulled her into a hug, "Thank you." Her eyes welled with tears and she returned the hug. "I owe you one Fern."

"No worries Fabe." Sirius met her side and they took the floo back home. He pulled her into the room where a present sat on the bed. Evalyn stared between the box and Sirius as a pearly white smile spread on his face.

"Open it love" she giggled as he bounced impatiently. She undid the Gryffindor red bow and took the lid off of the box. The only sound that came from her was a gasp as she pulled the contents out. Evalyn ran over to the mirror and held the new dress in front of her. Sirius walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist as he buried his face in her neck. "I had Minnie send for it while we were out today." His lips tickled her neck as he spoke. Sweet kisses peppered her skin.

The dress was sage green, the exact shade of her eyes. The top was a corset top, with two thin straps for the sleeves. The bottom was made with a tulle like fabric of the same shade of green. It fell all the way to the floor, with a slit that ran up one side. Sage green butterflies decorated the bottom of the dress and the sleeves. Sirius turned for a minute to grab a second gift. Inside were a pair of tan colored heels that would tie around her ankles in a bow. "This is beautiful Sirius." Evalyn turned around with the dress still in her hands and gave him a kiss. "Thank you so much."

"Maybe in a couple months we can have ours?" Evalyn nodded in excitement and clapped her hands. She set the dress and the shoes down before jumping in his arms and wrapping her legs around his waist.

"I can't wait."

The wedding the next day was beautiful. It was small, only their family and close friends were there. The love that filled the room however, was unlike anything Evalyn has ever seen. Little did they know, that was the only bit of happiness they would see for a while.

In the next two weeks Monty and Effie passed away. Remus missed the funeral due to his mission, and Peter couldn't make it due to his grandma being ill. Evalyn held Sirius tight as the boy sobbed at their funeral. Tears of her own fell into his hair. Lily did the same for her husband.

The death eater attacks were rampant. Hardly anyone left their homes anymore outside of work. Every other day the Order was sent out to fight or get information. Everyone was getting stressed and the tension grew thick. It seemed that whenever Evalyn was sent on a mission, there would be twice as many death eaters, and they were much more experienced.

Evalyn and Sirius held a small dinner for their birthdays, only the Potters and Minnie were there. Remus owled them a small gift and a letter wishing them well.

An Order meeting was called. The Potter Manor was still used for the location. Peter, the Prewetts, Marlene, Dorcas, the Longbottoms, Minnie, Arthur and Molly, Mad Eye, James and Lily, and Sirius and Evalyn sat around the table waiting for Dumbledore. As he showed up, the chatter died down. He cleared his throat. "It appears we might have someone who is leaking information to the death eaters." Everyone looked around at each other awkwardly trying to determine the guilty party.

James was the brave soul to speak first, "I trust everyone in this room with my life." Sirius nodded in agreement, followed by Peter. Murmurs of agreement came from all around the table. Evalyn gripped onto Sirius' hand. Her secret had already made it to the enemy, but she didn't want to see anyone else at risk of danger.

"You are right James, until we know for certain, we will just have to keep doing what we  have been. In the meantime, Sirius and Evalyn will be going to Diagon Alley next week to meet with Hagrid to get some supplies." The two nodded. "James, Lily, Marlene and Peter will follow close by just in case they are intercepted." James saluted Dumbledore.

As everyone left the room, Evalyn called for James, Lily, Peter and Minnie to stay behind. She glanced at Sirius with a small smile and he returned it. "After we get back from our mission, we will have the wedding. Remus should be back from his own mission at that point." The group cheered for the couple.

Peter smiled at Evalyn, "Just owl me the location and time and I will be there Snitch, I wouldn't miss it." He gave her a kiss on the temple and a clap on Sirius' shoulder as he scurried out of the room.

McGonagall gave the couple a small embrace to congratulate them before she made her exit. Evalyn looked to Lily nervously, "Will you be my maid of honor?"

Lily squealed, "Of course! I can't wait!"

James looked at Sirius expectantly, "Well, I'm waiting?" A smirk was plastered on his face. It soon fell as Sirius whistled an awkward tune and looked towards the ceiling. "Padfoot, I'm waiting." He crossed his arms.

Sirius looked at him and softly said, "Evalyn has something to ask you first." James whipped his head towards Evalyn who was twiddling her fingers while looking down at the table.

"Willyouwalkmedowntheaisle?"

He pushed his glasses up in confusion, "What was that?"

A deep breath, "Will you walk me down the aisle?" Instead of an answer, she was tackled out of her chair. Two arms wrapped around her as he embraced his sister.

"Merlin Evie, obviously." He whispered into her hair as the laid sprawled out on the ground.

"Thanks Prongs, it means a lot." Wet tears fell down her cheek.

"I'm sorry they can't be there." He wasn't just referring to her parents, he also meant his own.

"It's okay, I still have my brother." They giggled as he yanked her up off the ground. "Now it's Sirius' turn." She gestured to the boy who was growing impatient.

"Finally! I can't believe my best mate is replacing me!" Sirius put a hand over his chest while Evalyn chuckled. "ANYWAYS, Prongs will you be my best man?"

James fanned fake tears from his eyes, "I thought you would never ask!"

This moment was one of the happiest the group had in a while. If only they knew what was about to happen.
