All I Want

"I just want to see your face once more." I mumble, looking down at my hands.

"When you said your last goodbye, I died a little inside." I bite my lip, trying to fightback the tears that I have been pushing away for so many days.

"Matt, it's so hard without you here." I cry, wishing nothing more then to have Matt hold me right now, kiss my cheek and tell me that everything will get better. But it won't. Not without him.

"If you loved me, why'd you leave me?" I whisper under my breath as one tear falls down my cheek, followed by many more.

I look down at the flowers laying next to me on the ground. I pick them up and press them to my chest.

"I'll see you again, one day. I promise." I close my eyes and let the tears fall. Matt used to always tell me to follow my heart, but now my heart is shattered into millions of pieces, so which piece do I follow?

With shaking hands I take the flowers and put them on his grave. I look up at his tombstone.

'Here lies Matthew lee Espinosa'

"I love you. I always will." I whisper and get off the ground.

"See you soon." I whisper, as another tear runs down my cheek and falls on to his grave.
