(079b - A Night to Remember Part 2)

You didn't expect the next update to come this early, Abi? 🌚.

Don't worry, I'm challenging myself this year. Last year, I was only able to write seven chapters. It's embarrassing to admit😂😭. I have to do better this year, make time, find time.

Just keep praying for me.

Are you ready?

"Welcome to The Davis Manor, baby," he said, voice low and molten like he just opened the gates to heaven itself.

And honestly? It felt like he had.

The moment we crossed that threshold, the world shifted.

Tall, elegant palm trees lined both sides of the road like guards of honor, their silhouettes swaying lazily under the warm, amber glow of the streetlights. The lights themselves weren't the regular harsh white bulbs—nah, these were soft, almost golden, like something out of a luxury resort.

(Woosh!😫🔥✨)

And then... the woods.

Yes, actual woods.

Not the kind of bush you see behind someone's compound. No, this was intentional. Curated. Groomed. Rich people forest vibes. Clusters of tall, well-manicured trees stood proudly on either side, their trunks glowing slightly from cleverly hidden ground lights.

In fact, I saw glimmering streams of water weaving through the greenery, tiny wooden bridges arching over them here and there.
