Assassination Failed! Begin The Desperate Escape!

Hello and welcome back! From where we last left off, the mission to break Mother Carmel's portrait was a success. Thanks to everyone's efforts, the allied team were able to get Big Mom to scream. However, as we all already know, the plan still won't go according to plan and the group has already encountered a few hiccups. Still, how will Uta and her allies get out of this mess and what role will they play? The tea party from hell is still in full swing and there are still plenty of surprises left in store! Look forward to seeing how the plot will change with Uta in the mix! I don't own One Piece.

After seeing her beloved portrait of Mother Carmel shattered in her hands, Big Mom lets out a blood curdling scream that was strong enough to be compared to a sonic boom. In addition to her powerful scream, Big Mom's conqueror's haki activated too, knocking out the animals that copied Luffy's appearance along with many guests whose will wasn't strong enough to withstand it. All of the Charlotte siblings covered their ears to try and minimize the pain, but it was still a lot to endure. However, thanks to their preparations, the allied forces all had earplugs on which helped them endure the pain of the scream. Despite putting her headset on deafen mode, Uta was still able to hear Big Mom's screams and wished she put her earbuds on instead of relying on her headphones. After all, these headphones weren't designed to withstand such loud noises. This attack brought back painful memories for Uta as she begins to remember a certain move used by the Demon King of Songs.

This scream...it's just like Tot Musica's! Uta thought as she held her head in pain. Even though these headphones have a deafen mode, they are not enough to fully block that hag's scream! I never thought I would come face to face with such a similar attack!

BOOM! FWOOSH!

Much to everyone's shock, the KX launchers blew up before they could hit their target. Everyone's jaw dropped and were in absolute shock as their plan literally blew up in their faces. After all, no one would have expected that Big Mom's scream could destroy missiles. Uta notices that Katakuri used his abilities to provide everyone with mochi earplugs and she begins to fear what is coming next.

"Crap! That's an issue!" Bege yells as he and his men hurried off to the opposite direction. "Run away!"

The allied forces didn't need to hear Bege to understand what he said and everyone responded accordingly. They all quickly ran off to the opposite and away from the chaos. Uta looks up to see Caesar flying in with a mirror in the distance and is relieved to know that they will be able to escape.

To destroy missiles with a scream? That woman is a bona fide monster! Uta thought as she ran towards the mirror. Forget that. Our goal now is to escape with our lives!

Uta's observation haki activates and she sees a future that made her lose all color in her face.

"Caesar! Turn back!" Uta yells as she tries to get the scientist's attention. "The mirror is going..."

CRASH!

Just as the missiles couldn't withstand the pressure of Big Mom's scream, the mirror for which the group was going to escape, shattered with ease. It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that glass would break under the pressure of Big Mom's scream, but with everyone in a rush to escape, that was something that never crossed their mind. With their only escape shattered and their enemies close to surrounding them, the group found themselves without many options left.

"There is no way we can beat them." Echo said scared.

"What should we do now, Uta?" Pitch asks, looking at Uta for guidance.
