Thea's P.O.V

"Nicolai, I swear to the Lord Almighty if you don't stop poking me, I will bury you alive," I growled, smacking Nicolai's finger away from my side.

Nicolai groaned dramatically, flopping down on the couch next to me.

"But, I'm so bored and all you're doing is studying," he whined.

I rolled my eyes.

"It is not my job to entertain you," I sassed, closing my history textbook to give him a pointed look.

Nicolai fake-gasped in mock horrification.

"What! You're telling me that I was wrong this whole time? That's not what girlfriends are for?" Nicolai mocked sarcastically.

"It's a wonder your sarcasm hasn't gotten you six feet below ground," I mused, poking him on the cheek.

Nicolai grinned wickedly, pulling me closer to him until all I could focus on was his vibrant, green eyes.

"Yet, you're still dating me," he teased.

"Barely," I whispered jokingly.

Nicolai chuckled, pecking my lips.

"Alright, let's do something fun," he decided, dragging me up off the couch.

"But, I need to study," I complained.

"You can study when you're dead."

"But I can't study if I'm dea--"

"Thea, shut up and let me take you out."

I huffed in defeat. "Fine."

He grinned victoriously," My charming persuasiveness wins again."

"Sure, if that's what helps you sleep at night."

Nicolai pouted. "Let's go before my ego is completely deflated."

"I need to go change first," I said, turning towards the staircase.

"You don't need to change, let's just go," Nicolai replied, his hand taking hold of mine.

"Look at me," I whined. "I'm just in sweatpants and a t-shirt. I can't go out looking like this."

Nicolai paused to check me out, his eyes wandering over my figure. I shivered from his gaze, exhilaration spreading through my body.

It didn't matter if we had already been dating for a couple weeks; the way he looked at me still gave me chills.

"I don't see what's wrong with what you're wearing. You look just as amazing in sweatpants as you do in jeans. It's just in jeans, I can see your butt a lot better," Nicolai teased, winking slyly at me.

I gasped, smacking him hard on the arm. "Nicolai Snow, you pervert!"

"How am I a pervert? You're my girlfriend, I'm allowed to appreciate your butt, which by the way, I do. I do quite a lot."
