Apologies for my imperfect English and Tagalog skills. I wanted to create more "malalim na Tagalog" lines for Goyong but perhaps I didn't succeed in doing so. Hindi gumagana ang makata powers ko, unfortunately. When I was in high school, I began to develop a great interest in the boy-general. In the past, I have thought of different 'what ifs' including what will happen if a national hero suddenly gets transported into a modern Philippine setting. I decided to make one of my 'what ifs' into a fic starring Del Pilar. I must admit, I was never contented with all the stories I made --All unfinished stories ended up in the recycle bin except this. Despite of that, the process of writing enables me to express some of my feelings and views that I incorporate in some characters, so I'll continue writing. This story is not worthy of any praise, but if appreciated, I will be very much happy. Maraming salamat po.
