Chapter 6 is here~ I don't own cardfight vanguard~~

When Aichi and Miwa finished preparing their part of the meal, they left to the kitchen to let the brunette cook in peace.

"Ah Aichi you cut your finger"

The blond noted, the younger nodded as he took his finger out of his mouth to show the blond.

"Yeah but it's not bleeding anymore...."

The smaller replied before staring off into space, grey orbs narrowed slightly at the oddness of the young boy's actions.

"You okay?"

The blond asked softly, worried that the younger boy was thinking about his family.

"......"

"Oi Aichi"

Miwa called, a little louder than before, causing the young boy to jump slightly, sapphires flashing in alarm for a moment before fading into a neutral expression.

"Uhhh what did you say?"

Aichi questioned, resulting in a sigh from the older.

"I was wondering if you're okay...."

The blond replied, the blue haired boy was silent for a few moments before responding.

"Yeah I'm fine..... Somewhat...."

The last part wasn't audible to the older's ears.

Grey orbs softened in concern as the blond put a reassuring hand on the younger's shoulder.

"You know that you can talk to me anytime Aichi, the same with Kai.... He doesn't show it but he cares about you as well"

The blond failed to notice the slight flinch of the younger boy at the mention of Kai.

"Thanks..... I'll keep that in mind......"

The blond opened his mouth to say something else, however he was interrupted by the brunette coming into the living room.

"The food is ready"

Both teens nodded at the brunette before following him into the kitchen to eat.

Sapphires gazed blankly at the food after Aichi had sat down, the boy knew that he was hungry, however he suddenly didn't have much of an appetite.

"Amazing! You're food is always the best!"

Miwa chirped happily as he dug into his meal happily, the brunette nodded before jades settled upon Aichi who continued to gaze at the food.

"I didn't poison it"

Aichi jumped at the older's comment and smiled weakly.

"I know..... I'm just not that hungry......"

Curious grey orbs narrowed slightly at the younger boy's words.

"Eat what you can"

Kai replied, the younger slowly nodded and began to slowly pick at his food. he couldn't help but remember how delicious his mother's cooking was as he ate. Suddenly making him feel nauseous from the sadness.

"I'm finished......"

Aichi whispered softly before running off towards the bathroom, too fast for either of the older teens to see the tears that were streaming down the boy's face.

Both teens blinked at the odd actions, Miwa was about to get up but the brunette stopped him.

"He might need some alone time right now......."

Concern filled grey orbs wavered before the blond nodded at the brunette's words.

"Yeah maybe..... I think me being around made it worse.... But I don't know....."

Meanwhile Aichi was trembling slightly as he flushed the toilet, flushing all of his stomach's contents away.

The boy slowly got up off of the floor and slowly made his way towards his room to curl up tightly into the blankets.

He couldn't help the tears from flowing out of his sapphires as he remembered his mother's kind and happy smile whenever she gave him his food.

A whimper escaped from his lips as he though about how he'll never be able to taste his mother's cooking ever again and how he'll never be able to laugh and talk at the dinner table with his younger sister.

Time passed and the young boy noted that the brunette had gone to sleep due to the lack of light that crept from underneath his door.

The boy rubbed his eyes of his tears for the umpteenth time that night. He couldn't help but feel so utterly alone at the moment, knowing that he had no family anymore and that he was most likely causing problems for the brunette.

He wanted to forget his pain, even if it was just for a little while, however he was afraid to fall asleep, for he didn't want to have those bittersweet dreams of his past mocking him of what will never be reality ever again.

His thoughts then flickered towards when he was cutting peppers, he had been thinking about his family when he had suddenly became preoccupied with his bleeding finger.

Sapphires narrowed slightly as he wondered if he would forget once more if he were to do the same thing again.

With that new idea, Aichi quietly got out from under the blankets and crept soundlessly out of his room towards the kitchen. He winced when the floor creaked once, thankfully the brunette didn't seem to wake up.

The blue haired boy swiftly made his way towards the kitchen and snatched a small knife from the drawer before heading towards the bathroom and snatching an extra roll of toilet paper, just in case he accidentally made a mistake.

The boy then slipped back into his room with both ideas in hand, he sat on the floor and watched the moonlight glimmer on the blade's silver edge. He didn't want to die, he just wanted to forget, even if it's temporarily.

Slowly Aichi rolled up his sleeve and gently grazed the blade horizontally on his arm, just below the crease of the elbow. He winced as he felt the blade dig into his skin and watched faint trails of crimson beginning to bubble from the cut.

Satisfied with the pain, Aichi cut once more, a little deeper this time causing the blood to flow a little faster than before.

Sapphires gazed blankly at the crimson liquid that was dripping onto the floor, relishing the feeling of emptiness that had overtaken him, for it was better than the sadness of before

After a while of gazing, the boy had lost teach of time, he was starting to feel faint. Fear suddenly gripped him as he noticed just how big the pool of blood had been.

He hadn't meant to let himself lost so much blood, after all he wasn't trying to kill himself. But that didn't stop his vision from blurring, not the fast approaching of the ground.

Me: hehe the chapter is late.... Though its still Monday.... I just had lots of stuff to do today....

But hey! I wrote 1K words in less than an hour! Usually it takes me 60-80 minutes to write a chapter~
