Chapter 33

Chapter 33 is here~ I don't own cardfight vanguard~

I was lounging on a pile of rocks outside soaking up the rain until I suddenly realized that it was Monday and hadn't updated yet... *sigh* holidays mess up my routine...

Sapphires blinked open slowly as the young boy yawned softly, however they widened considerably when the small boy noticed the position that he was.

He felt his face heat up as he noted that the brunette's arms were wrapped around his waist and that his head was nestled in the older's chest as well.

He tried to pull away but the sleeping brunette's grip seemed to tighten as he did so, he held in the urge to squeak in surprise at this.

After a while of trying, but failing to get out of the brunette's grip, the blue haired boy let out a tired sigh and closed his eyes to try to fall back asleep, ignoring the blush present upon his face.

A smirk appeared upon the brunette's lips as he cracked an eye open to look at the blushing boy, he couldn't help but want to pull the boy even closer to his chest so as to nuzzle his face into those soft blue locks.

He almost couldn't resist the temptation of claiming the young boy for himself as jades traced the smaller boy's body, noting how the shirt had slid down the younger's shoulder slightly to reveal more of the younger's smooth skin.

He held back from touching the boy in any such way, for they were not a couple, yet. The brunette closed his eyes happily at the thought of somehow making the younger boy his.

"Kai....."

Jades blinked open in surprise to see the blue haired boy gazing up at him, his cheeks flushed despite the light pout that ghosted his lips.

"Yes?"

"You were awake the whole time weren't you?....."

The blue haired boy questioned, sapphires narrowing slightly, causing the older teen to smirk.

"Who knows? Anyway we should both eat something"

The brunette replied slyly as he sat up on the bed and stretched his arms.

"......"

Aichi was silent as he nodded before hiding the lower half of his face under the blanket.

"I suppose something pre-made?"

The brunette questioned as he got off of the bed, another silent nod was the response from the blue haired boy, the brunette suppressed the urge to chuckle at the younger's adorable actions.

With that, the brunette left the blue haired boy alone in the bedroom in favour of heading towards the kitchen and grabbing a box of Cheerios and some milk from the fridge, he poured two bowls and placed them on the table just in time for the smaller boy's arrival.

"Thank you"

Aichi whispered softly, avoiding eye contact with the older.

"You're welcome Aichi"

Kai replied as the two of them sat down and began to eat their cereal.

"It's been a while since I've actually had cereal"

The brunette mused as he observed the ring shaped objects in his bowl.

"I'm sorry..."

Aichi murmured, feeling guilty about the fact that the brunette was having to eat food that he normally wouldn't eat, the brunette shook his head and smiled softly, causing the younger to blush faintly.

"No it's fine, it's a nice change, maybe I should eat cereal more often...."

The brunette mused as he observed the younger boy, noting how he seemed less tired than usual.

"Aichi why are you acting strangely?"

The brunette questioned after they had finished eating, he already knew the answer, he just wanted to mess with the younger boy.

"Ehh different?....."

Aichi questioned in confusion, amusing the brunette.

"Yeah you seem less bold than you were before when you were giving me the cold shoulder"

The brunette supplied, sapphires narrowed slightly.

"That's because I was making myself act like that.... now that I'm not acting, it's a little odd to be around you..."

Aichi whispered softly.

"And why is that?"

Sapphires narrowed once more in confusion due to the brunette's question.

"I don't know.... it just feels strange to be around you..."

The blue haired boy replied, the brunette smirked and leaned close towards the brunette so that the younger could feel the warmth of his breath, he was satisfied when he felt the younger shiver slightly.

"Maybe you're falling for me?"

The brunette breathed into the younger's ear, Aichi's face flailed red with embarrassment as he moved far away from the brunette.

"T-there's n-no way that I could possibly fall for you!"

The smaller boy squeaked before retreating into his room, the brunette let out a sigh and shook his head, not one bit disappointed with the response.

The brunette couldn't help but feel satisfied with the response, for it made him elated with the fact that the small boy was getting all flustered and embarrassed contrast to how the boy had once been in pain in despair.
He couldn't help but love this side of the younger more.

The brunette followed the younger into the bedroom to see that the younger was on the phone, he waited patiently until the boy had finished.

"Who was that?"

Kai asked curiously, knowing that there were a select few whom the boy would contact.

"A person who can fix the bathroom door"

Aichi deadpanned, the brunette nodded, not feeling the slightest bit of guilt for destroying the boy's door.

"That's good, it wasn't that nice of a door anyways...."

Sapphires narrowed slightly at the brunette's words.

"You shouldn't do that"

The brunette raised a brow.

"Bust down doors?"

"That too, but you shouldn't make jokes, it just seems odd to hear you joke around...."

The blue haired boy replied softly, a blush present on his cheeks, the brunette felt his eye twitch at the younger's comment. He wondered if he actually came across as a stick in the mud in other's opinion as well.

"I see...."

The brunette replied, hoping to eventually change the younger's opinion of him, he felt lucky that he at least was starting off as being idolized instead of dislikes or wary of in the eyes of the blue haired boy. Now he just had to somehow switch the view to love.

Me: that's the end of the chappy~

Miwa: it's becoming fluffy...

Me: upset?

Miwa: no it's fine....

Me: hehe ^-^

Miwa: I'm happy with how it's turning...
