Chapter 32 is here~ I don't own cardfight vanguard~~

Christmas break starts tomorrow for me~ meaning that updates will be on the normal days but at weird times due to no school schedule to keep me in check Hehe~

The blue haired boy slowly shook his head.

"No it's not okay.... I've been so horrible to you guys...."

The blue haired boy whispered softly, jades lightened at the younger's words.

"If you think so, then fix everything"

The brunette replied, Aichi hiccuped and nodded as he rubbed his eyes.

"I'll try.... But I don't think that it would make up for everything that I did...."

"Don't say that Aichi, you were scared and confused"

Miwa sighed, despite the smile that played his lips.

"That's no excuse....."

"As long as you don't harm yourself anymore it's fine"

The brunette murmured gently, trying his best to mimic the blond's soft tone of voice.

"I actually didn't start ..... hurting myself as a means to die.... Initially it was just to make me forget all of my pain momentarily...."

The blue haired boy confessed lightly, both older teens raised a brow at this new information.

"I see.... So the first time you actually tried to die was that one time I confronted you...."

The brunette muttered, trailing off for the other two didn't need him to go into any details.

"I sort of panicked......"

The blond let out a heavy sigh and playfully ruffled the younger's hair.

"What a way to panic...."

He laughed, though it lacked all forms of amusement and was instead hollow and flat.

"Sorry......"

The brunette shook his head.

"In a way it's good that that happened, because that made me finally realize what was happening and eventually it lead us to where we are now...."

Sapphires blinked in confusion at the brunette's words.

"How is that a good thing?...."

"I was there to save you and find out what was happening instead of things not changing until you one day accidentally went too far by mistake with no one around"

The brunette replied, grimacing at the very thought of that actually happening. He didn't think that he'd be able to live with himself if Aichi were to kill himself.

The three teens stayed silent for a good while before the brunette decided to speak once more.

"Do you still want to die Aichi?"

The brunette asked, looking down at the younger so as to read his expressions.

"No I don't want to die anymore..... it would upset too many people and I only now realize that dying wont solve my problems..."

The blue haired boy replied, his voice laced with sleepiness, due to the late hour.

The brunette allowed a small smile to cross over his face.

"That's good to hear Aichi, you have no idea how happy that actually makes me feel...."

A small blush crept upon the smaller boy's face as he looked away shyly, the blond smirked before standing up.

"I guess then that it's time for me to take my leave"

The blond chirped as he started to walk away.

"Ah Miwa!"

Aichi called softly, the blond turned around in response to his name being called.

"Yes?"

"Thank you for helping me realize how stupid I've been lately.... And you too Kai..."

The blue haired boy whispered softly, the blond's grin widened as he nodded.

"No prob! I'd do anything to help a friend!"

He chirped lightly before leaving the two other teens alone on the floor.

The brunette noticed the younger's tiredness and smiled softly.

"I think that it's about time that we head to bed for real this time"

The older teen suggested as he stood up and held out his hand to help the younger up.

"Yeah....."

The smaller of the two replied softly as he took Kai's hand to help pull himself up, he staggered slightly due to him sitting on his legs for too long.

The brunette walked over towards a couch and the smaller frowned.

"The guest should take the bed"

The brunette raised a brow at this.

"I thought that I was just a stalker....."

A crooked smile made it's way upon the younger's face at the brunette's words, not believing that Kai had actually made a joke.

"Well you're a guest now so that means you take the bed"

The brunette shook his head in amusement, glad that Aichi had stopped trying to give him the cold shoulder.

"But the injured should be prioritized over the guest"

The brunette reasoned, sapphires narrowed slightly at this as the smaller boy shook his head.

"I don't want to be rude to you anymore though...."

The younger replied softly, looking towards the ground, the brunette let out a sigh.

"Then we'll share the bed, its big enough.... though why did you get a double bed in the first place?"

"Ah it was on sale for the same price as a single bed so I figured that I might as well buy it to get a good deal...."

The brunette nodded at this and followed the younger back to the bedroom, the two then crawled into the bed together, both on separate sides facing away from each other.

"Night....."

Aichi whispered softly, scarcely heard by the brunette.

"Goodnight Aichi"

The brunette replied as he allowed himself to settle into the softness of the mattress, he had forgotten how soft new beds were and wondered if he should replace his own bed at his apartment in favour of a new soft bed.

The brunette didn't allow himself to fall asleep until he heard the smaller boy's breathing become slower, signalling that he was indeed asleep and wouldn't sneak off as soon as he fell asleep. He couldn't help but feel a little nervous of the thought that the younger could just slip away and disappear to who knows where.

Half way through the night, sapphires blinked open in confusion at the extra presence in the bed, they then softened when he remembered what had previously transpired.

He couldn't help but smile softly and move a little closer towards the warmth of the older, for he felt calmer than he had ever since everything spiralled into a big mess, he then went back to sleep, his dreams void of any bad thoughts.

Me: that's the end of the chappy~

Miwa: hmmm they aren't a couple yet...

Me: hehe yep so the story still has a way to go~

Miwa: good.... I would have been upset if it was ending soon

Me: hehe ^-^ this has gone so far despite the complete lack of planning....

Miwa: I hope it's okay....

Me: meh, as long as I have fun~

Miwa: true....
