Chapter 12 is here~ I don't own cardfight vanguard

A soft sigh escaped from the brunette's lips as he cleaned up the living room a bit, contemplating what to do with the blue haired boy.

He wished that he was better with reading people and with social interactions, for he guessed that things would have been a lot more simple for him if he could.

It also somewhat irked the brunette that he was slightly concerned for the younger, even he could easily tell. Yet he didn't know why he cared about the boy enough to worry about him.

"Things are just so bothersome lately....."

The brunette sighed to himself as he dusted his hands on his pants, unaware of the presence that had paused at his words and had turned to leave the older alone.

He glanced towards the clock to see that he had been cleaning for a while for it was already around noon. He frowned once more, wondering if it was worth the trouble to cook for two when the younger would probably only be satisfied with scraps, and that was even if the boy decided to eat at all.

The brunette gave in and began to prepare two grilled cheeses, one for him, and one for Aichi.

As he cooked he allowed his mind to wander, unintentionally towards the blue haired boy. He then thought about what he and Miwa had discussed about keeping an eye on the younger, he couldn't help but feel as if he was missing something vital for some reason.

The sound of burning food snapped the brunette put of his thoughts, jades narrowed at the blackened grilled cheeses. He was annoyed for he hadn't burnt anything for years, yet simple thoughts lead him to burn a simple meal.

The brunette sighed with annoyance before tossing the burnt dishes out and beginning to cook new grilled cheeses. This time, he didn't allow his mind to wander off so easily, this the end result was two perfect golden grilled cheeses.

The brunette cut them both diagonally before setting each one on a small plate before heading to fetch the younger once again, hopefully with better results.

"I'm coming in"

The brunette called outside the blue haired boy's door before entering, he was greeted with silence so he took that as permission.

Jades narrowed slightly at the sight of the younger curled up on the bed, he slowly walked over towards the bedside, a thin frown marring his face as he took in the paleness of the boy. His gaze unconsciously wandered along the boy's much too thin body, he could tell that the boy had lost quite a bit of weight as of late.

"Aichi get up"

The older sighed after he realized that he had been staring at the smaller boy for a few minutes already.

Once again he received no response from the younger, he grabbed the boy's wrist and tugged slightly before pausing the feel the bones. They were much too easy to feel, even if the boy was already naturally thin in the first place.

"Aichi"

"No wanna....."

The younger mumbled softly as he turned away from the older, resulting in the brunette becoming even more annoyed than he already was.

He was also becoming annoyed at the fact that he was annoyed, for he knew that it wasn't like him to allow others to affect him as much as the smaller boy was.

"Aichi just hurry up and get up"

The brunette sighed, slight annoyance laced his voice, the smaller boy stiffened slightly before turning over to look into jades before nodding and turning away.

"Okay....."

Aichi replied softly as he got out of the bed, much to the brunette's satisfaction. The smaller sluggishly followed the older towards the table, Kai noted this but decided that it was due to the boy just waking up.

Sapphires glanced uneasily towards the grilled cheese in front of him, Kai noticed this.

"You said that you would eat lunch"

The brunette said, causing the younger to sigh in dismay. The older couldn't help but raise a brow at this, for it shouldn't be that terrible to actually eat something decent.

The brunette began to eat his share only after the younger had reluctantly picked picked up a half and began to nibble on it slightly.

The brunette's mood lightened considerably when the younger's eating pace gradually sped up to normal until the food had actually been finished.

However, Aichi didn't seem to be feeling that great if the sudden uneasy expression upon his face was anything to go by.

"I'm leaving now...."

The younger hastily said as he quickly got up from his seat and hurriedly left the kitchen. The older frowned and followed the boy to see that he was heading towards the washroom.

For some reason unknown to the brunette, he slowly followed the boy only to narrow his gaze when he heard the younger throw up.

He opened the door, a thin frown on his face when he saw the younger crouched in front of the toilet looking exhausted.

"Aichi......"

Sapphires looked back in panic as they settled on the brunette.

"It's not what it looks like...."

The younger whispered softly, feeling a little embarrassed for being seen like that.

"Really? Then explain the fact that you've been puking after your meals"

The brunette replied darkly.

"I don't make myself throw up..... But I feel nauseous after eating.... And then I end up throwing up whatever I eat....."

The younger whisper as he turned his gaze away from the older, afraid of the older's response.

Kai frowned at this, the excuse was plausible, for he had heard that unease can cause people to feel physically sick.

"I see.... You should have said so earlier, before it got this bad...."

The brunette replied, not sure as to how he felt about the younger boy's predicament, he was at least glad that he knew the cause for the smaller boy's paleness and tiredness.

"I'll be fine..... you don't have to bother with me Kai...."

Aichi replied softly, blue locks shadowing his eyes from the older's sight.

Me: that's the end of the chapter~

Miwa: so Kai knows about Aichi's inability to eat properly....

Me: yep~ wonder what'll happen next~

Miwa: should you know?

Me: no..... I haven't planned ahead for this much~

Miwa: ......

Me: I go with the flow~~

Miwa: *sigh* .......
