Holly had never realize how beautiful the sun could be until she couldn't touch it. Damon and the others had smuggled her out of the hospital during the night because she didn't have a daylight ring and they compelled Jenna by telling her that Holly had fallen and had a concussion from falling and just needed bed rest and a dark room.

Though Holly was feeling perfectly fine, all though the hunger that she felt refused to leave, she doubted ignoring her hunger was going to be easier while everyone else was at the Lockwood's offering condolences because of the mayor's recent death.

She pressed her fingertips against the window and winced as the sun touched her hands. She heard a knock on the door and saw Elena holding up a blood bag. "Breakfast."

Holly brightened. "Thank god, I'm starving." She took the blood bag from Elena, "I've been meaning to ask where's John? And how's Caroline?"

"John left and Caroline well she was pretty bad after the accident," she admitted. "Damon had to give her some vampire blood."

Holly scoffed. "Well, we both know how well that turned out." She made a hole in the blood bag and started drinking.

She saw Elena looking away, Holly frowned it wasn't like she was killing anybody so why was Elena still giving her those weary looks? She sighed. "Elena, be honest do you hate me, because I'm a vampire? Because I know how against you are on becoming one."

"I don't hate you, Holly." She admitted. "I hate what you've become."

"How are you feeling?" Jeremy asked a few minutes later.

"Fine." She said even though the words from Elena had stung a bit, she could tell that Jeremy was feeling equally depressed. She noticed the ring of his finger. "Nice ring."

Jeremy chuckled embarrassed. "A present from Uncle John."

"Lovely." She hesitated. "Jeremy, I'm sorry about Vicki and about Anna, I'm sorry that this happened to you and that you were dragged into this mess."

"Don't sweat it, it comes with the territory." He noticed the new curtains. "And don't worry, I'll convinced Bonnie to make you a daylight ring."

Getting into the Lockwood's house was surprisgily easy, now imitating Elena was ever easier. The girl had the personality of sandpaper. Katherine's heels made a click click sound as she saw the Bennett witch, Elena's best friend.

She knew taunting a witch was risky, but she just couldn't wait to rub into someone's face about her evil plans. She saw the witch, Bonnie approaching her, "Hey, Elena." She frowned when she touched Elena's arm. She frowned. This wasn't Elena, this wasn't Holly either. She managed a small smile. "I'm going to look for Tyler, pay my respects."

Katherine nodded. "Ok."

Bonnie walked towards the parlor and pulled out her phone, dialing Elena's number. "I know I'm late Bonnie." Elena said hurriedly as she answered. "Holly is sick, but I'll be there in five."

She froze as she hung up, she turned around and saw the Elena-Holly look alike. She smirked. "We haven't officially meet, I'm Katherine."

"I know who you are." Bonnie said coldly.

"Of course you do," Katherine sneered. "You're the best friend right? Or should I say ex best friend since I know how hateful you Bennetts are towards vampires, kind of sucks that you BFF is one of us now."

Bonnie took the bait. "What are you talking about?"

Katherine giggled. "You don't know, damn they are slow when it comes to news around here, aren't they? All I'm saying is that you're going to need a new best friend unless you can't stop being so judgmental."
