The Next Step: 16 Years On

Hey guys,
I hope you all had a great Christmas and new year. This is the first official update for me of 2016. From here on things are going to be a bit different- I'm now only going to update this book every 3 days. But the chapters will be longer. Like this one is 2307 words long exactly. I hope you can enjoy them much more as it also works with my schedule. As I'm in year 9 in 2016
I expect a lot more assessments and stuff meaning I know that I wouldn't be able to update every day. Every 3 days is a lot better for me. So this chapter is also full on. It's something that I've never done before. I just hope you are for it, not against it because it's a real plot twist. Will change everything. Anyways enjoy 😃

Brittany POV

After hours and hours of waiting in the hospital with Maddie and Blake, the baby still hasn't arrived. It's now currently 4pm and we've been here for nearly 5 hours. I'm laying down in Trevor's lap on the huge lounge that's here. My 3 month bump resting nicely on top of me. The kids are sitting beside me. Still colouring. Maddie has gone through an entire colouring book and Blake has almost finished two. Never knew a kid could colour that much. Victoria's mum Cheryl has been down to check in on her and so has her brother. They're still here actually- Victoria's brother talking to Trevor and Cheryl talking to me and the kids every now and then. Other than that it's quiet. No one is saying a thing. I squeal a bit as my eyes are drawn to a large black hairy spider who is crawling up the hospital wall on my left. I clutch onto Trevor who reassures me it's ok that it's only a spider and I keep talking to Cheryl. Hopefully I didn't give my baby a fright! < jiley_TLA (heheheheh)

"Hey you guys" Isaac says all of a sudden. I look up at him, standing up myself. Isaac looks pale, utterly upset and extremely sad about something and right now I'm praying to god that it's got nothing to do with Victoria or the poor little baby girl.
"Hey.....whoa are you ok?" I say stroking his arm. Vics family stands up and Trevor too, looking really concerned.
"No" he says and I look at Trevor who has the same worried type of expression on his face.
"Bro? Can I talk to you for a second?" He looks at Trevor. Trevor looks back at me and I nod as Isaac takes him to a far corner in the room.

(A/N: for the next couple POV's there are a lot and it all happens at the same time......sorry???)

Trevor POV
"What what what???"

Brittany POV
"Miss if you want, Victoria's ok to see you now..."
"She had the baby?"
"Well yeah she did but she requested for you. She needs to tell you something" I nod as the nurse leads me in.
"Heyyyy girly....." I say quietly but I can't help myself after what I can see "oh my god" I scream my hands covering my mouth at the sight I'm seeing.

Trevor POV
"I don't even know if I can say it Trevor. I'm in a compete state of mind right now that's just....too much" he says. I can see the tear stains on his cheeks. He must've been really upset.

Brittany POV
"Britt I can't do it anymore. I feel terrible. I can't....." She says and my face must tell it all.
"Sit down Britt" she sighs, tears strolling down her cheeks.

Trevor POV
"Isaac. It's ok man. Just tell me"

Brittany POV
"Ok Vic. It's alright girly, just tell me. I'm here for you whatever happens" I tell her and she smiles weakly

Trevor POV
"The baby isn't mine, Trevor."

Brittany POV
"The baby.....it isn't Isaacs"

Brittany POV and Trevor POV (speaking at the same time)
"Well? Who's is it?"

Victoria POV
"I don't know. It's got to be someone I apparently slept with before I fell pregnant. Honestly the only person I had sex with was Isaac- that's all I can remember. So yeah its rediculous......how could it have been......"
"Shit shit shit shit shit shit" she says looking at me, bursting into tears.
