Chapter 10

Allie's POV:

I went home and cried and then drove to Patrick's. I went inside and he saw me and asked what was wrong.

"Patrick you almost left your passed out girlfriend in a bar. What if someday I'm the girl passed out in the bar? Would you leave me there? Or would you have to call one of your friends to carry your girlfriend out of the bar?"

"First of all you barely drink so I can almost promise you that you wouldn't be passed out ever in a bar."

"You don't understand do you?" I asked

"Allison Marie, if you were so drunk you passed out I would pick you up like this and carry you out of the bar and take you home." Patrick said and he picked me up bridal style and put me down

"Okay." I said smiling

The next day after practice, Q told us there would be a change for our workout. It was something new and involved trust and team bonding.

"Well today we are all running one lap timed around the UC... While carrying Allison." Tazer said

"What?" I asked

Everyone laughed and they were super pumped. We had trainers around the circle so there would be no cheating.

"Okay, so who gave you permission to do this?" I asked Tazer

"We don't need permission." He said and then added, "You get out of running a lap."

"Okay but I fucking swear if any of you drop me." I said

"Okay so there are coaches, trainers and other people along the side to make sure there's no cheating. So I'll start." Tazer says

"Oh yeah and you have to carry her like his." He says picking me up bridal style

I'm going to get dropped by one of these idiots.

Tazer was serious about winning this. He ran super fast and when we got back he put me down and said, "Who's next?"

"I'll go." Patrick said as he picked me up and ran his lap then went Shapie, Shaw, Crawford, Dunks, and the rest of the team. When sharpie went Shaw put these Velcro weights that weighed 20 pounds each around both my calfs.

After the trainer stood up and said, "We have a two way tie."

"Holy crap Sharpie, you took four minutes. Most guys were back in a minute to a minute in a half." She said and everyone laughed

He picked me up and said, "Did you lose fifty pounds in ten minutes?"

I laughed and said, "They added weights."

"Fuck you all!" He said laughing

"Our tie is between the Captain and Patrick Kane." She announced

"How should we settle this?" I asked

"Same thing just this time piggy back." Crawford said

"Sounds fair." Tazer said

Tazer started and then Patrick went.

"The winner had a time of 37.752 and the loser had a time of 40 seconds flat. The winner is Patrick Kane!"

Tazer have Patrick the middle diner and then Patrick asked, "What do I win?"

"Boys what should Kaner get?" Tazer asked

"A night with Allison." Crow joked

"EW!" I said pushing him as we were walking back to the locker room
