Chapter 97

Allie's POV:

"Als, I'm so sorry!" Auston said

"And I'm not!" Patrick yelled

"Dude, you usually apologize." Auston said

"I'm not going to apologize. Allie, when someone hurts you I refuse to stand there and watch. If some hurts you, they will be hurt back. When we got married I vowed to protect you forever, and I intend on keeping that promise." Patrick said

"Both of you please stop. Auston, I'm going to be your wife... I know you hate Patrick but you need to respect him as my kids father, my teammate, and my ex husband. And you need think before you act. Because by trying to hurt him you hurt me.." I said walking away trying not to cry

Patrick grabbed me and pulled me into his arms and I for once pushed him away.

"I need to be alone.." I said starting to cry

I left and went home to my kids. We all just had a lazy day. Patrick and Auston knew better than to try and come over.

They didn't know that I didn't want them to text me. So I ignored them.

Three days later I acted like nothing had happened towards them. However, both had cuts and bruises on their faces.

Today was my last practice before I left to go get married.

The team all wished me luck on the wedding.

"Your wedding is going to suck because it's not with me." Patrick said

"Shut the fuck up!" I yelled at him

"Calm the fuck down." He said back

"No. I'm done. I'm leaving tomorrow to get married. So you need to grow the hell up and get over me. You're the one who ruined our marriage, you don't get be the one who destroys this one too. I love Auston okay?" I said angry

"I ruined the marriage? You're the one who had sex first." Patrick yelled back

"No, you're the one who was with someone else first." I said choking up and trying not to cry

I added, "I loved you. You were the one person in the world who knew me best, who loved me, and who was everything I could ever want. You married me, had kids with me, moved in with me. We shared everything, experiences that no one else understands. I know your deepest and darkest secrets, and you know mine. You have no  idea how hard it is for me to see you with her. You make me feel like I'm hard to love because you could replace me so damn easy. So yeah I'm scarred to love again." I said leaving the locker room and going home

The next morning I was at the airport with my kids and Auston. We were flying to Hawaii for my wedding.

On the plane I had Lauren and Tyler by me and across was Auston and Luke.

The wedding was tomorrow and I was so nervous. Lauren was on my iPad looking through all my pictures. She went all the way back to the pictures of mine and Patrick's wedding.

"Is that me?" She asked pointing to the baby I was holding

"Yeah!" I said smiling

We finally arrived at our hotel, and our families were already there. The kids were staying with the Kane sisters.

We went out for dinner that night and Auston slept in his parents room and I had my own room.

I texted Erica.

Me: hey, can you come to my room?

Erica: yeah, I'll be right there

She came in and shut the door.

"So what's up?" She asked sitting next to me in bed

"Since your brother isn't here. I need your advice." I said nervously

"Okay" she said realizing this was serious

"I know marrying Auston is right for me. But is it right for the kids?" I asked crying

"Als, Auston will never be their dad. But they like him. You do what's best for you." She said hugging me

"Thank you" I said

"No problem." She said

She left and I slept all alone. I woke up the next day and all the girls were in my room getting room. We got room service for breakfast and three hours later I was in my simple wedding dress.

Auston and I decided on a very simple wedding. It was his parents, his best friend, my family, and Pat Sr. And Donna along with their three girls. Of course my three babies.

I walked down the aisle and smiled at Auston. I couldn't wait to be his wife. The minister started the ceremony.

We said our short vows and then the minister said what we had been waiting for, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. Auston, you may kiss your bride."

I smiled at Auston and we leaned into kiss each other when I heard, "Stop!"

There was Patrick..... Holy shit...

Patrick's POV:

The next day I woke up for our first game of the season. Before I knew it my first shift was over. I couldn't do anything. At a whistle I got off the ice and said, "I'm sorry, I'm done. I need my wife back."

I got undressed so quickly and went to the airport and bought a very expensive flight to Hawaii.
