Imagine 24: Joe's First Cover

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

"My palms are so clammy! I can't believe I'm doing this. What if people don't like it?" Joe freaked out. Joe and I are doing a cover of History by One Direction while Mr. Dan Howell plays the piano. Dan and I grew up together, and I knew he was amazing on the piano. I called Dan up and asked him if he could play the piano for Joe and I, and he agreed.

I have a YouTube channel myself where I do covers, so this was a peice of cake for me. Joe on the other hand, has been freaking out as the day neared. His subscribers don't realize that he is absolutely petrified. Joe comes across as a brave, strong guy in his videos, but he's not brave and strong all the time. Joe has been trying to back out of doing this video, but I kept reeling him back in.

"Joe, you have an amazing voice. We're going to do great!" I cheered Joe on. Dan took a seat beside Joe, so Joe was in the middle. Joe took in a deep breath before he did his intro.

"Hey everyone! You're probably wondering why I'm sat in Danisnotonfire's room with (Y/N) and Dan. No, we were not having a threesome! I actually worked up the guts to do a cover, so (Y/N) I are going to do a cover of History by One Direction while Dan plays the piano. We hope you enjoy!" Joe smiled. Dan got up and took a seat at his piano. Dan started playing.

As Joe and I finished the lyrics, I felt so proud of Joe. Joe would always tell me that he couldn't sing even though I knew he was an amazing singer. His voice is just beautiful, and I'm excited for everyone to hear the amazing voice that belongs to Joe.
