Headcanon: When they were little...

When they were little.. Will, Horace, George, Jenny and Alyss regularly played outside. Horace always bullied Will, because he had no surname and was very little. The others always demanded to stop, which Horace didn't to. Will could almost never win, except for one time. That time, he challenged Horace to climb a tree. Horace, confident about his own skills, wanted something harder, and challenged Wil to climb in a tower. Will knew he was better, so agreed. The competition started, and Will was indeed faster. He was already about three meters above the ground, when Horace was only one meter above the ground. But then Horace fell. He screamed, and of course a servant came to see what had happened. Horace was being punished for trying to climb the tower, and all the wards had to go inside again. Horace said Will had climbed the tower as well, but when the servants watched the tower they didn't see him; Will was hidden in the shadows and didn't move. The servants thought he had gone inside already. When everyone was inside and no one could see him, Will went down and inside. Nobody asked him a question about where he had been.
