Hey, another note from the author – from me ;)

Halt: You know that this is already the third time that you don't update a story, but a note?

Er, yes?

Halt: Since when is this a book in which you only place notes, instead of stories?

Ehm, aren't you exaggerating a bit? I've almost nine times more stories than notes!

Pauline: Halt, dear; if she wants to have a chapter for only a note, that's fine. It's her story after all.

Yeah, Halt!

Halt: *raises an eyebrow* If you also keep posting stories between those notes, we might be able to live with it.

Wait! Does that mean you also read this story? What do you think of it? Are my ideas right – or at least, close to it?

Halt: Will! Look what you've done! Now she also starts asking multiple questions at a time!

Will: Er, sorry, I guess?

Halt, lots of people do that nowadays – at least, those who've read the series ;). But are you going to answer my questions?

Halt: *keeps his mouth shut*

Oh, never mind. You're ignoring me because I asked to many questions and you like keeping information away from people. But is there anyone else to answer?

Halt: *quietly* I didn't know everyone knows me that well.

Alyss: Your stories are quite right! :-)

Halt: They are, when they're not negative and depressive.

Pauline: Halt!

Halt: Ain't I right? Will, say what you think of it. Most of them are about you after all, and they're not always that positive.

Will: Uhm, I think they're quite okay?

Halt: What did I say about answering a question with a question?

Will: Not to do it?

Halt: *sighs and raises an eyebrow*

Will: Not to do it. I think they're quite okay... You're exaggerating a bit, Halt.

Pauline: Boys, hold it. Let the writer tell what she wanted to tell.

Thank you, Pauline. Well, to go back to the reason of this chapter; I'll be gone on vacation this week, which means I'll be inactive for about two weeks.

Gilan: So that means we won't have updates for two weeks? Then that probably also means that it will take at least another two weeks before we get those One-Shots you're working on?

Yes, indeed.

Gilan: Why do I always have to wait for things?

Crowley: Well, lad; that is what you chose for when you chose the life of a King's Ranger.

Gilan: If I would have know that from that moment on,75% of my life would consist of waiting, I would never have followed Halt.

Hey! That's another story I could tell!

Gilan: But then after multiple weeks.

True. Two weeks there won't be updates, but afterwards there will be an One-Shot!

Halt: Then we also don't have depressive stories for two weeks.

Crowley: They're not that bad and depressive. Especially those about you I like! Oi, I'd like to read the whole version of Greybeard Halt!

I can do that for you! Any other suggestions?

Halt: The story about a Ranger and a giant.

Will: That story about Crowley? I want to read that as well!

Gilan: What is the connection between Crowley and a giant...???

Crowley: It's nothing, it's nothing.

Halt: It's something. A story everyone wants to know completely!

Gilan: Actually yes!

Will: Same!

Crowley: The all of you should be careful; I'm still your Commander after all.

Alyss: Boys, don't be childish. We didn't come to fight about what we want or don't want to read. That's entirely the choice of the writer and her readers.

All Rangers: *look indignantly because of the word 'boys'*

I don't know if anyone else wants to read that story? If so, I'll see what I can do. But I can't do everything at the same time xD. First a long week in America :)!

Pauline and Alyss: You lucky duck! Have fun!
