The rest of class was a drag.

An awkward drag.

Aiden kept shooting weird glances at Sadie and in return Sadie would pretend he doesn't exist. I on the other hand was blushing worse than when Aiden saw me naked, so I kept my eyes locked on the professor and my ears focused on what he was saying which of course I couldn't comprehend because I was thinking about what just happened...and wishing that could be me and Jackson.

Wait, no!

Shaking my head of all these weird thoughts I began jotting down some quick notes. Sadie cleared her throat next to me but didn't say anything. Well it's official, this has been the most awkward thing i've ever experienced. A bell sounded and I screamed out. " Oh thank God!".

Everyone turned to look at me but I didn't care because I was already out the door. Sadie waved goodbye and Aiden met my eyes then put his index finger over his lips. 'Shh' he mouthed. I shrugged it off and practically ran to my next class. It didn't sink in that I was alone until...I was alone. Just like high school.

This class wasn't nearly as packed as the last one so I found myself being the only one in the back row. I watched in envy as everyone mingled and talked to each other. There was a small group of girls in the front gushing over this guy sitting next to them. His hair was a little darker but practically the same color as mine. He was wearing a grey Sleeveless shirt and my eye caught his left arm. A sleeve of tattoos traveled up his arm.

"Ladies, ladies,". He laughed. "Please you're making me blush".

I gasped.

His head snapped back towards me and I ducked underneath the desk. No, i'm not ready to face him yet. Why does he have business lecture anyway? not like this can teach him anything about the mafia. Crossing my arms over my chest I decide to stay hidden for the rest of class.

I'm not kidding.

" Well, well, well,". A familiar voice sounded above me. " I don't remember ordering anything from Starbucks".

" Get away from me". I sighed slowly getting up. I took my seat again just as the bell rang and Jackson sat next to me.

" Look,". He started. " I Kn-".

" I don't care". I interjected.

" C'mon, you can't be that mad". He met my gaze.

"Yeah, I am". I snapped ignoring the professor who was now dragging on about something and the pouting girls who no longer have their dreamy seat buddy.

" Why". He asked still staring at me.

" Because...,". I turned my head. " You're a monster".

He didn't say anything. He just sat there and stared at the board. I know I flipped a switch in him, maybe it was a switch I shouldn't have been messing with in the first place. We stayed like that in silence for a few minutes until I couldn't take it anymore, but right before I got to say anything he flipped the desk over and marched out.

Crap.

I slowly got up and followed him outside. Guess I won't be learning anything today.

" Jackson!,". I struggled to catch up to him. "Jackson wait!".

He ignored me. I noticed his fist were balled up and he was walking like he's just about ready to kill someone, not that he hasn't before. I grabbed his shoulder. " Stop!".
