Luke sat in the conference room, the card with Reece's phone number in his hands, tapping it against the glass table.

His team stood around him, pestering for him to call Reece already. "There's a rule of how long to wait before calling." Luke said, "I don't want to sound desparate."

"It isn't a real relationship." Terry reminded Luke, but the blond couldn't get the kiss out of his head--it was so passionate and hot and everything Luke had been longing for in a boy. Reece had the looks and he had great taste in suits and he was rich and an excellent kisser.

"It's been two days." Q said.

"That's enough." Liv said with a shrug. "Q waited that long for me."

"That's different, the person I'm calling could kill me instantly."

"Everyone stop." Michael said, "let Luke do it himself."

Everyone reluctantly agreed and left the conference room, leaving Luke alone with his phone. Luke sighed and typed the number in to his phone and hesitated before tapping the green button.

Luke put it on loud speaker, letting it ring.

Someone who wasn't Reece answered the phone, "Mr Grean's phone, who is this?" The guy said making Luke suck in a small breath.

"I'm Luke Jones, Reece knows me." Luke said.

"Hang on a moment." The man said and Luke heard him tell Reece his name and mumble something else before the phone was being fumbled around.

"Luke?"

Luke blushed slightly, "hi."

"Calling so soon?"

Luke face palmed, "I knew I called too early."

Reece chuckled at Luke's words, fond of the boy he'd just met. "What did you call for Luke."

"You uh said to call when I wanted to, and I wanted to." Luke shrugged to himself.

"I'm very busy right now, I'm about to head to a meeting. But we could meet up for dinner when I'm back in Australia?" Reece said, and Luke bit back a smile. The mission was going well.

"Okay, that sounds good." Luke said nonchalantly.

"I'm back on Thursday morning, I'll send a car to your house at seven pm." Reece said.

"Okay." Luke smiled, "I'll text you my address."

"Thank you." Reece hummed, "I need to go, I'll see you very soon Luke."

"Can't wait." Luke replied before they both hung up. Luke put his phone down before groaning to himself and smacking his head against the table. Luke felt like he wasn't acting anymore--and he'd already met Reece twice. He felt like he was wrapped around Reece's finger.

But soon Reece would worship the ground Luke walked on.

Luke heard the door open, running his hands through his hair and across his face. "Luke?" Luke looked up to see Michael. "Alright? How'd it go?"

"Good." Luke said, "we're going out Thursday for dinner."

"Yeah?" Michael grinned, standing up straight. "That's great, we're making progress."

"Mike." Luke said before he could leave and tell the others. "I don't think--"

"You can." Mike said, reassuring Luke. Luke had fallen for a previous undercover mission, and they'd died. It had been a girl from the FBI and she had been the light of Luke's life before she'd died during a mission and Luke didn't think he could do that again.

He had to remember this was a mission--Luke was acting.

He could do it.
