Dan's POV

I arrived at Scarlett's a bit earlier than she expected. I couldn't wait for today, I got no sleep last night. Scarlett informed me that Autumn had stayed over at Chris' two nights in a row, which got me an image I did not wish to be viewed in my head. 

"Are you excited?" Scarlett asked me, grinning. We both couldn't stop smiling. You know what they say, a smile is contagious.

"I am so excited!" I replied, my eyes gleaming. "I only just realized the other day that we haven't been informing our fans about our current situation. I haven't made a video in months. I was just wondering if you'd like too, now."

"What should we say?" Scarlett asked me.

"What ever feels right," I replied, "Just inform them on what is going on."

Scarlett got out her old video camera and pressed 'record'.

"Hello internet, how are we all doing?" I introduced, "Some of you may know who I'm with. If you don't, well this is the beautiful Scarlett Evans!"

"Hi." Scarlett waved.

"Scar and I used to date, but something happened and we broke things off. However, during our relationship something amazing happened."

"Even more amazing than Phil." Scarlett smiled sarcastically.

"I'm going to have a child!"

"Yeah! Today we're gonna find out the gender so we'll update you on that as soon as possible." Scarlett finished.

"Bye guys!" I waved and flicked the camera off. "You ready to go?"

"Hm yeah, sure. Let me go and grab my purse." Scarlett replied as we headed for the door.

The nurse had put some sort of gel on Scarlett's stomach and was using a machine to rub it in. Scarlett mouthed 'It's cold', and I simply laughed. "Okay then, I think I know..." The nurse stated. 

I suddenly felt queasy and a little sick. Scarlett flushed white. "Can we know?"

"Um, actually I don't think I want to know!" I said abruptly.

"What... but Dan?" Scarlett asked.

"Would you like to go outside Mr Howell?" The nurse asked me, smiling at Scarlett.

"No no. Tell me what it is!"

"It's a -"

"No! I don't want to know!" I shouted. I was sweating.

"For gods sake Dan." Scarlett muttered.

"Okay, okay... tell me..."

"It's a girl!"
