Luke's POV:

After the front yard had been cleared if the undead by our neighbor, we watched the streets to make sure all was clear. My brothers and I had been on lockdown at the Academy when the world decided to pretty much screw us all over.

Luckily Uncle, had been with Erica and Jessica on vacation in Greece before it all started with Silas's family. So we all knew they were safe. We had yet to hear from the others' families though and it had really started to worry us. Before the phones stopped working we were notified by a friend in the Academy, that a neighbor had Kota's dog Max and would keep him with them until the owner was found.

After 2 weeks of traveling we had made it to Kota's house, and made contact with Max's rescuer.

When the neighbor had taken down the undead in order to buy us time to fix the window, we decided to hold a family meeting where we all decided it was in our best interest to recruit said neighbor to our group. After all now that the world has turned into a deadfest there was safety in numbers and to be 100% honest we were starting to get low on ammo.

After it was decided we word ask the neighbor to join us, my brothers asked me to scale the neighbors house and get inside to make contact since I was the quietest of our group and had the climbing skills of a monkey...

Or a ninja.

Yes, definitely a ninja.

After I made my way across the street and up the building I slid through the window cursing myself internally when I was tackled to the ground releasing a grunt as max sat on top if me. "Hi max, you miss me buddy?" I whispered to the big ball of fluff as I began to sit up. Max quickly got off if me, nuzzling and licking me like we'd been gone for years.

He looked good. He looked well nourished and well taken care of and I was happy to know he hasn't been suffering while we were gone. Kota would have never forgave himself. I was broken from my thoughts as I heard the most beautiful, soft voice speak. "Look Max, we've got fresh water boy." I snapped my gaze up only to suck in a sharp breath at the girl standing on her bed on the other side of the room.

She was beautiful. Tiny, with a small frame and curves in all the right places. She had long, blonde hair and her eyes were a springtime green. Not quiet as dark as grass green and not light enough to be lime green, but they were entrancing none the less. I could feel myself getting lost in them already.Next I took in her high cheekbones, cute little button nose, and full soft looking pink lips.

I couldn't help but get lost in one now, thinking about how each of my brothers would react to her. I wonder if North will be a little less grumpy when we bring her along? Oh god, Gabe is gonna go batshit crazy when he sees her. He's not gonna leave the poor girls hair or clothes Alone for even a second.

I couldn't help but think that this girl, this beautiful little creature...yeah, now she is definitely what daydreams are made of...
