Is it rude to tell her the truth?
Five seconds with you means more to me than a lifetime with her?
That it's almost autumn and you'll be back,
You always come back... Here to me, to our place.
I'll wait forever but I don't have to...you know I will,
Yet you only stay gone a few months, why?
Do I make you feel like nothings complete unless my lips touch your ears?
Do I get in your heart and make you camp out fearlessly facing the night without a flashlight?
Not fearing the wild animals, knowing we are the wild animals?
When you come back will you knock on my door with the grin of sweet caresses,
An angel among women, halo shining from the chest onto my face like a candle glowing?
Or will you show up tattered and torn, soaked up disappointment raining down your shirt?
I'll take you no matter what way you reach me, no matter how long it takes.
Broke or Rich, Broken or A New Whole, My Door Will Open For You.
Something's & Some People are worth waiting for,
You are one of them and don't think I don't know you know it.
