You wanted sex, I wanted to make love.
You wanted one song, I wanted a three disc CD set.
You wanted a condo, I wanted a big house.
You wanted danger, I wanted safety.
We wanted to play games,
You wanted to play monopoly, I wanted to play operation.
You wanted the wealth, I wanted the health.
We wanted a family, so we made a family together.
we had all of the above, compromising among our differences.
You were skeptical, I was hopeful, we could make it all work out, fit together.
what we wanted wasn't all that different, we got our happily ever after.
